okay guys i picked up a couple glide bait blanks to try my hand at painting, i was curious what colours you guys would paint these. I'm kinda stuck between a couple ideas and need some ***.

i was thinking a bluegill pattern for the smaller glide which is about 5.5"

I have the bottom blank done in lite trout like the R2S version. It's a random color but the fish here like it for some reason.

I would go with a trout or an ayu. Where did you get that bottom blank? I have been trying to find one.

I'd do a transparent Gill pattern on the first blank , just Paint the outside of the blank , that way you can skip the inner body where the hinges are located , getting clear coating around the hinges can be a royal pain.

My 2 Cents.
