Super User Oregon Native Posted January 28, 2018 Super User Posted January 28, 2018 Again..here I am thinking while wishing I was on the lake. This is a what if question and you cannot record on your TV. So would you stay home and watch the Superbowl or go fishing if these were your two options. Quote
Super User Angry John Posted January 28, 2018 Super User Posted January 28, 2018 Fish, why ask silly questions 3 Quote
Crappiebasser Posted January 28, 2018 Posted January 28, 2018 Fish, you can find out how the super bowl turned out later but you'll never know if you missed a new PB. 3 Quote
Super User Oregon Native Posted January 28, 2018 Author Super User Posted January 28, 2018 Oh....for the record....I'm going to fish. Something about eagles and quiet water this time of year is just a big draw. Quote
BassResource.com Administrator Glenn Posted January 28, 2018 BassResource.com Administrator Posted January 28, 2018 Lesseee...watch the Patriots or go fishing? .... Is this a trick question? 2 Quote
Global Moderator 12poundbass Posted January 28, 2018 Global Moderator Posted January 28, 2018 Egos are too big for me. Hockey and some baseball sure but that's it. 1 Quote
Super User slonezp Posted January 28, 2018 Super User Posted January 28, 2018 If they made a punch rig that could break thru 10" of ice, I'd be all over it. 4 1 Quote
Super User Gundog Posted January 28, 2018 Super User Posted January 28, 2018 My Steelers ain't in Minnesota this year so I'd go fishing. Probably will just check in to the game every once in a while. Not really an interesting match up. 1 Quote
bassguytom Posted January 28, 2018 Posted January 28, 2018 I will be watching the Super Bowl. My Eagles have been quit for too long. 2 Quote
Yakalong Posted January 29, 2018 Posted January 29, 2018 Fishing, but I know I won't be at the lake on Sunday so I guess I'm watching the game. 1 Quote
volzfan59 Posted January 29, 2018 Posted January 29, 2018 I'm a Veteran and retired Law Enforcement, I refuse to watch anything NFL related. Fishing is what I would pick, even without the other issue. That being said, I'll probably be at BPS selling fishing stuff. 1 Quote
Super User flyfisher Posted January 29, 2018 Super User Posted January 29, 2018 I am going fishing saturday and then watching Sunday. Then i will be heading to where i grew for the parade on tuesday.... 1 Quote

Talking about it ain't bad....did that for a number of years....60-80 hours a week. It really cut into the fishing though. Quote
Super User Gundog Posted January 29, 2018 Super User Posted January 29, 2018 Just remembered the Great American Outdoor Show is running this sunday so I know where I'll be. 1 Quote

Super User J._Bricker Posted January 30, 2018 Super User Posted January 30, 2018 I don’t know why you couldn’t do both, that’s what I’d do. The game doesn’t start ‘til shortly after 1500 PST (please adjust to your local time zone), so you can go have a day on the water. The best part is missing all the pregame talking heads and be back for food and football. Weather in my neck do the woods is supposed to be in the 70’s (So Cal was upper 80’s yesterday) this weekend so things are looking good... 1 Quote
Super User roadwarrior Posted January 30, 2018 Super User Posted January 30, 2018 I have never missed a Super Bowl. The "World Championship" became Super Bowl I, Kansas City vs. Green Bay. I was in junior high and had season tickets for the Chiefs. When we finally won in 1970, I was a senior in high school. They have never been back. As a die-hard Chiefs fan it was hard adopting the Broncos when I first moved to Denver. That all changed with the arrival of John Elway. Then we were treated to the Peyton era. As Patriot fans know, it's REALLY fun having a winner! I'm not really a New England fan, but I am a HUGE fan of Tom Brady. I will be rooting for him on Sunday. 1 Quote

Not really a fan of any NFL team. Just call it like I see it. Just like when I predicted OU wouldn't get out of the first round of the CFP. Quote
Fish the Mitt Posted January 31, 2018 Posted January 31, 2018 I'm from Michigan, where ice is everywhere. This Sunday, Superbowl Sunday, I'll be in Tennessee fishing Quote
