MDBowHunter Posted January 27, 2018 Posted January 27, 2018 Ok guys who's using them, and what are your thoughts on them? I know they are hard to get and sell out within minutes of being put up for sale. Do we have any success stories while using them? Quote
Global Moderator Bluebasser86 Posted January 28, 2018 Global Moderator Posted January 28, 2018 They look cool, but I've had very limited success with big soft plastic swimbaits like the Hudds, makes me less interested in them. I've had pretty good luck with the Boom Boom swimbaits and Optimums and they're much cheaper so I can put them places I'd be scared to put something more expensive. Those Shellbacks look good too and I know a lot of guys have been doing well with them. 1 Quote

I'm hoping a giant Liberty reservoir striper will love them!!! Quote
Big Swimbait Posted January 28, 2018 Posted January 28, 2018 Excellent baits. No surprise they sell out quickly. Downside to the great action is they are very soft to be able to do it. Mend-It is a must have to keep it together. One of mine in Green Tesla I've put back together 4 times lol. I am going to experiment making it a line thru with a top treble. The big swimbait hooks rip them up pretty bad sometimes. Quote
