You probably want a high speed reel.  The rest depends on WHAT you're ripping through grass.

I use 12# CXX, OG 7.1:1 Zillion , and a LTB 7' mh/f rod for that. ;)

Any low pro baitcaster will have enough drag for bass fishing.  Even the lowest rated drags are over 8#.  That's enough to snap most MH rods on a dead lift.

Depends on the IPT.  I've never felt that 32" was not enough.

The rod and line much more important than reel IMNSHO. Anything with a 6-7:1 (or any of the silly fast ones around) will work. A fairly crisp 7' MH fast rod and 15lb mono or 30-40 lb braid is a good place to start.
