LEWITH Posted January 20, 2018 Posted January 20, 2018 Hi all Im looking at getting a new pitching/flipping reel that will have 20lb fluoro on it. Im looking at getting the Curado 70 XG do you guys have any opinions on this reel or should I look at a different reel for this style of presentation. Thanks! Quote
Stephen B Posted January 20, 2018 Posted January 20, 2018 For flipping and pitching, the Curado 70 XG is hard to beat. I recommend that you try a few different reels to see which reels balance better with the rod you plan on using before buying. However, I can attest to the great performance of the Curado 70s. Quote

This ^. I have 2 Curado 70's that I use for pitching. I have tried a few diawa's that I used for pitching, but they are are used on my bottom contact rods now! Quote
Global Moderator Mike L Posted January 20, 2018 Global Moderator Posted January 20, 2018 Too many options to list. IMHO Any high speed reel (7.1+) with a quality drag that will balance your rod of choice will work just fine. Mike 1 Quote
