I netted this fish for my partner during a tournament in June. She weighed 9.25. All shoulders no belly, caught on a black spro popping frog

6.7 pound largemouth on a vision 110, followed by a 6.5 (also on the vision 110) two casts later:)

Can't remember exactly what my biggest smallie weighed, but it was about 5 or just under if I remember right.  Caught her burning a 1/4 ounce ratt-l-trap.

I caught a 20"+ smallmouth on a War Eagle Extreme Trokar Colorado/Willow Sexy Shad spinnerbait, on my first cast of the day too. I didn't take my scale with me unfortunately.

I got skunked the rest of the day.

Largemouth I'm not sure on, biggest one I weighed was 5-11 (right side in pic) but I got one that I think might have been bigger but I didn't weigh it since it was a practice day (left side in pic, longer and bigger head - but spawned out).  The 5-11 was caught flipping a Rage Bug into log jams and the unknown LM was on a Shakeyhead/Trickworm skipped under a dock.

Smallmouth is also unknown weight since it was also a practice day, but it was easily my biggest SM of the year.  Caught on a Pointer 65 and 6lb line :).

Spotted bass is yet again unknown even though it was on a tournament day...I just had a 4lb LM that day also so I never bothered to weigh the spots individually.  I probably had 5 or 6 spots of similar size to this one also on the same trip...Spots are only found in 1 lake that I fish on a regular basis and they are relatively new to that lake as well.  Big spots all came on a Vision 110.

I typically only weigh single fish if they are the lunker of a tournament bag.  I have a good idea of what the unknown fish weigh but no reason to post a guess ;)

I caught 7.7# on white 3/8 oz Chatterbait in shallow weedy area. 2nd largest 5.8# came from 08 Rapala Husky Jerk. My water is pretty muddy with only a foot or two of visibility.

4-1/2 pounder on a black jig with a black craw trailer. Got that one around some lily pads in about 3 feet of water.

Caught three 5 pounders this last year. Two on a black strike king football jig w/a Bps triple ripple craw trailer and one on a t-rigged crazy legs chigger crawl (bream) with a 4/0 ewg and 1/8 Oz. gold bullet weight.  Also caught a quite a few in the 4+ range with a t-rigged venom tube (roadkill).  All but one were prespawn.  This past summer was rough.

4.25 lb largemouth on a Netbait Paca craw in the Coosa Special color, on a VMC 1/4 oz rugby head.

For some reason for the years 2015-2017, 2017 was the year with the fewest fish over 4 lb.

Thanks to Bass Resource, it was the year of the most consistent bass fishing, and I taught a lot of kids and their Dads to catch them - that was a definite "win" for 2017.  :D
