Based off ability to catch fish, don't care how long the wire lasts. Feel free to name more than one. Also what's your favorite replacement skirt?  Probably have a 100 SK spinnerbaits but they dont produce so gonna sell them. Anyone elses thoughts on the SK spinnerbaits? Thanks guys!

I use to use all brands of spinnerbaits now I use those cheap $1 Walmart spinnerbaits and I catch plenty of bass and exotics on them,i got a big zip lock bag of them the skirts come loose from time to time but no big deal.Side note don't see alot of love for spinnerbaits but I use them regularly and they produce fish and have for a long time.

War eagle is the only spinnerbait I’ll throw since I first tried them 2 years ago. They flat out catch fish.

My favorite spinnerbaits are frankenbaits, body from one company, blades from another, and skirt I make from tabs I buy bulk. Off the shelf, I like the Mann's Classic, Booyah hot wire, and a couple of specific SKs ( The Costa Rican ones, not the Nicaraguan ones). Matching the blades/weight to what I'm doing is important to me, I have a bunch of the Wally and Cabelas cheapies lying around that I can just mod up in a hurry when I need to, and when someone says "I can't catch them on a spinnerbait".

I like most of the spinnerbaits that I have used. I am a big fan of the 1/4 oz size with double willow. My favorite color is chartreuse sexy shad. Since Strike King kind of made that name, I like theirs the best. I look fir a good blade bearing swivel and sharp 3/0 hook that is strong. i also like gold blades too.

I use the same ones ive been using the last 15 years. Picasso and Stanley VIBRA WEDGE.

I have replaced skirts, swivels when needed, and sharpend hooks.

Northlake tackle reed runner. Good quality and good keeper for a trailer. That's a big one for me because I always use abswimbait trailer on my spinnerbaits, but never a trailer hook

I mainly fish small farm ponds / water retention ponds. For me, I do great using BooYah pond magic spinnerbaits. Small profile but fairly sturdy and good price.

I hear you. My PB was caught on a BPS Uncle Buck's spinnerbait two Novembers ago. I'm certain it was bought for about $1.50. I still have it. Most everything about it is cheap, but it has tandem hammered nickel willow leaf blades, which you don't see as much these days.

In response to the OP, my favorite is a War Eagle 3/8 oz in gold shiner pattern. It has replaced most of my other SB's.

Awesome, thanks for the info. Not sure how u make skirts using skirt tabs for jigs but interesting.

I'm not much of a spinnerbait guy, the only time I throw one is when the water looks like chocolate milk. So my favorite would be Fat Sack tackle's thump-em up Colorado blade spinnerbait.  1/2 ounce is about perfect most of the time with it's freakishly large Colorado blade, that thing is bigger than an Eisenhower dollar coin.  Only spinnerbait that I really use anymore.

War eagle has been my favorite for the past few years although I do plan on trying the new spinnerbaits from Dobyns this spring. They look like a quality bait.

Looks like it's a yamamoto zako. But there's a 50% chance I'm wrong

War Eagle most of the time, but I also use some Booyah, Strike King, and some a local shop sells with each blade half silver/half gold. If I need a replacement skirt, I tie it myself.

X-factor(Jewell bait company made them for GM), Megastrike strikeback(Original and Roland Martin) I ordered some Siebert compact, looking forward to using them this season.

I happen to have a few 1$ spinner baits people gave me but yet to catch anything on them!

The fish around here would rather eat something like a senko or a frog lol

I   dont see a lot of difference in spinnerbait brands . I choose by weight ,   blade design and a ball bearing swivel .I  have bought spinnerbaits for a quarter a piece on clearance that had ball bearing swivels .

The Trailer on both baits is a Strike King KVD Perfect Plastic Blade Minnow ~

I tie my own skirts - fairly easy deal really.

And yes I catch OK on Both baits ~

Might have more to do with where & when one fishes these baits, than the baits themselves.
