Thank you. I have fished since I was 5-6 and living in Va. 2 blocks from Potomac river. Just recreationally but last couple years have been bass fishing primarily. Finally got boat in fall of 2016 and can't get on water enough only problem being am a little cold-natured?

Welcome aboard. You listed your location as Springfield. My wife and I had traveled out there years ago.  Well you are lucky because you are not too far from Table Rock and that lake is amazing.  Be careful running on it if you do not know it. If you are unfamiliar with that lake it is one filled with tall flooded timber and it is easy to hit something if you just drive straight down the middle of the lake. I suggest you take a guide and have him teach you the lake first. It will be a great investment of your time and money.  We caught some very nice bass there once we learned the tricks to fishing for suspended bass in the standing timber.

Thanks for tips on T.Rock.  have been there several times over the course of time but only  out on boat few times. Is it as bad as Truman looks? Will keep eyes open when get on it this spring. Thanks again

Thank you again   It seems like there are some friendly and helpful  people on this site.  I hope that  all is doing well and keeping warm as I myself am in a short hibernation mode. Cant wait for warmer weather . Good luck to those brave souls who can be out there now but I need a few more degrees to get me out?
