I/MBasser Posted January 12, 2018 Posted January 12, 2018 Looking to place an order. I’ve had lots of luck with Black/Blue. What’s your favorite color? Quote
Super User MIbassyaker Posted January 12, 2018 Super User Posted January 12, 2018 i like greens and browns, and anything with chartreuse, orange or purple highlights. For instance, PBJ, Black/brown/amber, Summer craw, Bama craw, Brown craw, Green Pumpkin-purple, Missouri craw, Sweet Craw....I recommend getting the dredge jig pack -- has a bunch of popular colors with the head style of your choice and a great hook. WI_Angler1989 Posted January 12, 2018 Posted January 12, 2018 I fosh pretty clear waters up here so natural crawfish based colors work best for me. So, greens and browns. I have a fondness for blue in my jigs and bottom contact plastics, so blue craw is a confidence color for me. A lot of other green pumpkins with different color accents work well. I've had lots of success with PB&J too. Quote

Super User roadwarrior Posted January 12, 2018 Super User Posted January 12, 2018 Yes! I think you might like it, too. I'm using a Rage Tail Blue Craw for the trailer. http://www.bing.com/images/search?view=detailV2&ccid=FYfcXatF&id=23FD779F67C28D79012E8086A48247115299BA83&thid=OIP.FYfcXatFoX08_dis2G43TgHaHY&mediaurl=http%3a%2f%2fi.ebayimg.com%2f00%2fs%2fNTA3WDUwOA%3d%3d%2fz%2ffG8AAOSwR0JUNJth%2f%24_35.JPG&exph=299&expw=300&q=rage+tail+blue+craw&simid=608044088386389020&selectedIndex=0&ajaxhist=0 1 Quote
Super User NHBull Posted January 12, 2018 Super User Posted January 12, 2018 I am convinced that 99% of the time, and regardless of techniques, you only need Black/ blue Green pumpkin And possibly a brown mix 1 Quote

I really like the bluegill flash and the golden shiner. Quote
Super User fishballer06 Posted January 12, 2018 Super User Posted January 12, 2018 Green pumpkin gold/purple Quote

RyneB Posted January 12, 2018 Posted January 12, 2018 Sweet Craw is a killer pattern up here in the north. Quote
WI_Angler1989 Posted January 12, 2018 Posted January 12, 2018 Sounds good! There are so many colors they tie that look awesome. I may have to branch out a bit more than usual on my next order. Quote
MDBowHunter Posted January 12, 2018 Posted January 12, 2018 Last year I picked up some of the Falcon Lake Dredge Brush Jigs with Falcon lake rage tails and did great on them. Usually its Candy craw or Blue Craw. For some reason I can't buy a bite on black and blue Quote

No need for 100 color jigs. Gman uses black or brown. I add green pumpkin because I'm a rebel 1 1 Quote
