Super User jbsoonerfan Posted January 14, 2018 Super User Posted January 14, 2018 I'm honestly questioning the coaching decisions made by Mike Tomlin. AAAAAARRRRRRRGGGGGGGHHHHHH! 4th and 1 two different times and no QB sneak??? WTH Quote
Dtrombly Posted January 14, 2018 Posted January 14, 2018 Drew Brees-like numbers for Big Ben. If I would've saw that stat line and hadn't watched the game I'd think Pittsburg won by 20! Quote
IndianaFinesse Posted January 14, 2018 Author Posted January 14, 2018 Welp, that did not go well. Highly, highly questionable coaching decisions by the steelers (and officiating for that matter) did not help them. My predictions are currently on the nth level of sucking lol Quote
Super User Sam Posted January 14, 2018 Super User Posted January 14, 2018 Sam 2-1 LSU's Fournette leads Jacksonville to upset the Steelers. Now for the Saints to pull the upset of the playoffs. 1 Quote
Super User Sam Posted January 15, 2018 Super User Posted January 15, 2018 Sam 3-1. Saints blew it. Predictions for next week: Eagles and Pats will win. Quote
Super User Gundog Posted January 15, 2018 Super User Posted January 15, 2018 Wow, what a game that was. Insane ending. Vikings game ball should go to the Saints player that not only missed that tackle but also hit his own teammate so he couldn't make the tackle. 1 Quote
Super User jbsoonerfan Posted January 15, 2018 Super User Posted January 15, 2018 Well, one win and three loses. I guess I will have to start selling my picks with a showing like that Quote
Dtrombly Posted January 15, 2018 Posted January 15, 2018 Well, one win and three loses. I guess I will have to start selling my picks with a showing like that Don't feel bad. I lost my superbowl champion in the first round, Kansas City. Quote
ohboyitsrobby Posted January 15, 2018 Posted January 15, 2018 Went 3-1. Not sure what I just watched exactly but I suppose it happened. Going vikes and jags in the super bowl. Can't pick the eagles cuz I'm a cowboys fan and just wanna see something besides the pats. 3 Quote
Super User NorcalBassin Posted January 15, 2018 Super User Posted January 15, 2018 Wow, that was a crazy day. Can't imagine what that must've been like for the fans seeing that Vike's game in person. Looking like a Pats-Vikings SB with another title for the Pats. Quote

IndianaFinesse Posted January 15, 2018 Author Posted January 15, 2018 That was some finish to the viking/saints game! Anyway, I updated the topic with everyone's record. Rough picks all-around, no-one picked all 4 winning teams. And I might as well have used the dart board method... Quote

Jags a team that scored 10points last week against the Bills scoring over 40 against the Steelers in Pittsburgh?!? And the Vikings all but sealed in their coffin the last nail about to be hammered in when they score a miracle touchdown. However reality forces me to chose Pats and Eagles next week. Patriots game not included the other 3 games were some of the best playoff football in recent memory. 1 Quote
Super User Gundog Posted January 15, 2018 Super User Posted January 15, 2018 I got the Eagles and Pats in the big game. Quote
Super User gim Posted January 15, 2018 Super User Posted January 15, 2018 I think the Steelers over looked the Jags. They were already mentally preparing to face the Patriots and it back fired. The Jags could give the Patriots a run if they play like that. The Vikings-Eagles game is a toss up. The weather could be a factor and the Vikings are an indoor dome team. 1 Quote
Super User Gundog Posted January 15, 2018 Super User Posted January 15, 2018 Thought I was gonna be 2-2 but thanks to the Vikes I'm 3-1. Quote

Big Ben threw 55 passes that game and the run game never got a chance. Seems like a similar scenario this weekend. 1 Quote

Bell seemed to do well when he ran it up the middle, not so much around the outside. 1 Quote
BassNJake Posted January 18, 2018 Posted January 18, 2018 I'm going to take the underdogs: Vikes and Jags. So 0-2 for me. Quote

I think the Jags D will be a lot for Brady to handle. They have the potential to knock him off his patterns and out of the comfort zone. But he is the GOAT, and unless his injury is serious, he'll be ready. I do wish Wentz was healthy. He played so darn well in the first 1/2 of the season, I'd love to see him play for all the marbles, too. He'll be back next year, I'm sure. 1 Quote
Steveo-1969 Posted January 18, 2018 Posted January 18, 2018 I'm going to take the Vikings and Jaguars to win also, just because that's the Superbowl I want to see. 1 Quote
Super User N Florida Mike Posted January 20, 2018 Super User Posted January 20, 2018 I have to root for the home team ( jags ). Very torn on the other game. 50-50. Guess I'll go with the Eagles because if they win , the Super bowl won't be dominated by Viking fans up there. Quote
Super User Sam Posted January 20, 2018 Super User Posted January 20, 2018 Eagles over the Vikings vs. Jacksonville over Pats. Jacksonville defeats the Pats due to LSU's Fournette's running and catching ability. Of course, Eagles are better than Vikings who should not be where they are if not for a blown tackle. Would not be surprised to see Pats win. At least the weather conditions will be nicer this weekend than last weekend. P.S. Check out Fournette's shoulder pads. They are the ones he wore at LSU. LSU sent them to him at his request. You can see the purple and gold stripes on the pads. Is that great or what? Quote
