Agree with Scarborough, once you know that you can look at rods and power/actions. You want something pretty stout with fast action. I use a med-heavy 5 power, (it fishes more a heavy) and extra fast action. I have heavy matts/vegetation so I need something to power them out, also use fast reel to get 'em in quick.

The frogging rod I use is a 7' 3" H/F Ethos Micro from Academy. I've also used it for pitching and it worked pretty well. I got 2 of them for $27 each but they're $80 every day. One of the rods I use for pitching a lot is a 7' 3" H/F Okuma TCS that's also labeled as a frog rod and I have no doubt it would work for it. You can get them around $100 pretty easily if you look a little bit.

i use an abu garcia vendetta 7'6" H/F but i would suggest a dobyns fury 735c

i think most will agree that 7'3" is the best all around length since it gives you a little more distance when pitching, as well as a little more leverage over the fish.

I have a 7'3" Cabela's Tournament ZX Frog model rod. It's a great rod and can stand up to dragging bass out of cover. But I don't love it for pitching/jigs/worms. I've tried and it's stiff as a pool cue. The Cabela's line of rods are on sale right now for $70.

I use an older Falcon Lowrider 7' MH MF rod for those other presentations. It's my pitching rod because it has a great tip, but loads up in the first 1/3 of the rod. That, coupled with 30# braid is all the hooksetting power I need. I bought it for $50 from an older coworker. I looked it up and they still have that model rod. It's actually their Big Cranker rod. But the action and power are just perfect for what I use it for. I used to use this rod for both pitching and frogs and it performed well until I bought the Cabela's rod.

My recommendation is a Megabass Orochi XX Perfect Pitch.  Its a 7'2" heavy fast action rod and there $100 off retail all over the place with a new version coming out.
