EmersonFish Posted January 9, 2018 Posted January 9, 2018 Main goal is cheesy but true: Fish more and enjoy every minute of it. While I'm at it I may as well: Become a better dock fisherman. Not a strength of mine and I fish Lake of the Ozarks too much to let that continue. Learn to use my electronics better. I have cheaper units than a lot of guys, but I could get a lot more out of them than I do. Catch a limit in every 'Solo Pro Tournament' my schedule and budget allows me to fish this year. 1 Quote
DoctorP Posted January 10, 2018 Posted January 10, 2018 Throw bigger baits, handcraft new lures, and hook up friends & forum members with the lures I make! And most of all, break that PB from last year. Quote
Hawkeye21 Posted January 11, 2018 Posted January 11, 2018 Last year I actually accomplished many of my goals and had a very successful year. I caught my personal best large mouth and small mouth bass last year. I fished in my first online kayak tourney and managed to qualify for the National Championship. This year I'd like fine tune some techniques. As always I want to get out of the water more and beat my personal best. I want to fish in more tourneys and compete in my first live event instead of just online like last year. I want to qualify for the National Championship again but this time I want to actually plan on fishing in it. I'd like more experience before I fish it so I don't feel so intimidated. 1 Quote
CroakHunter Posted January 12, 2018 Posted January 12, 2018 My goal is to boat/bank flip a 6lber and to catch an 8lb largemouth. 1 Quote
WI_Angler1989 Posted January 14, 2018 Posted January 14, 2018 I've been wanting to partake in the Wisconsin Master Angler program for the last few years, but never remember during the season. So I'd also like to finally do that for Live Release Smallmouth. No real reason why, but it just seems like It'd be fun and kind of neat to get the DNR certificate and patch. The going size now is 20", so it won't be a shoe-in like when it was "just" a little 18" fish hahaha. 1 Quote
