Yakalong Posted April 2, 2018 Posted April 2, 2018 Luckily the snow missed me in mid Missouri. It did sleet some yesterday but nothing terrible. However, I am really ready for some better weather. Quote

On my way into work this morning the road commission was spraying the main roads so that's not a good sign at all. I know it's not as bad as you though. I also know a lot can change in a week but the high next Monday for us is 19. ? Quote
Super User Gundog Posted April 2, 2018 Super User Posted April 2, 2018 After a beautiful weekend with temps in the mid 50's today I woke up to 4 inches of snow. Just when I was getting ready to start my fishing season this happens. aaaarrrrgggghhhhhhh! Quote
OCdockskipper Posted April 2, 2018 Posted April 2, 2018 This thread is a great explanation as to why the real estate prices and cost of living is so high in Southern California. Look at the bright side, you guys still have the prespawn to look forward to. That was months ago here, we already have fry all over the lake and are in the middle of a 2nd wave of spawners. You have a future, all we will have soon is memories... 1 Quote

Still some ice out there but maybe after this crap that’s coming at us from A-Jays area goes through and it warms up next week, I might be able to launch and try to find some lakers. 1 Quote

Global Moderator 12poundbass Posted April 4, 2018 Author Global Moderator Posted April 4, 2018 Well we woke up to 2" of snow on the ground and it's still coming down at a pretty good clip! Sad part is it's spring break for all the schools around here. Instead of riding bikes and enjoying warm weather they'll be making snowmen. #winterround2 ? Quote
Super User J Francho Posted April 4, 2018 Super User Posted April 4, 2018 Power was knocked out at work already. Temps are supposed to plummet below freezing, so we're getting snow along with 65-70 mph winds. Last year in March, we had a similar windstorm, and were out of commission for a week. Still no network at work, hot spotting from my phone - haha! Quote
jbmaine Posted April 4, 2018 Posted April 4, 2018 pushing 60 degrees here with thunder storms, then a chance of snow later this week. Crazy Quote
Super User NYWayfarer Posted April 4, 2018 Super User Posted April 4, 2018 High wind warnings here in the capital region of NY. gusts of 50-60mph with temps in the mid-50's today. The temps plummet tonight to the low 20's and we are expecting a wintery mix of snow, sleet and rain on Friday. Weekend temps will be in the 40's Quote

Super User J Francho Posted April 4, 2018 Super User Posted April 4, 2018 That is not pretty. Quick update: gust exceeded 75 mph. I made it home. Power was out. Back of the garage roof is damaged, nothing I can’t fix on a Saturday. Wind move my boat and grill a couple feet. All in all, not so bad. Snow is starting to fly. 1 Quote

Hydraulic line blew yesterday half way through the removal process. Woke up to -10 degrees this morning.; Malamutes all got cold paw. (Doesn't look like a good time). Saw another robin - reminded me of Angry Bird. I can surely relate. A-Jay 1 Quote
