Its looking like Saturday won't even break 0° here in upstate NY. Forecast for the next couple days calls for a few inches of snow, 40+ MPH gusts, and temperatures somehow even colder than what it's been. Saturday is calling for a high of -2° and a low of -19° with 15-25 MPH winds gusting up to 40 MPH. Getting real for us northerners.

I'll be sampling that for you tomorrow -

Let you know how it goes.

Might barricade myself in the basement . . . .

Now we're talk'in ~  - 20 to - 40 tonight.

You will not hear me complaining about 'how hot it is' at any point this summer.

No automatic alt text available.

Yikes! -10 for us not sure of the wind chill. Usually for us when it gets that cold there's no wind. Wind coming off the lake will keep it "warm" for a lack of better words.

Might break a record this weekend.

And that's a tall task considering your area's history - Good Luck.

It's no longer called global warming, they call it "climate change" that way they're always right no matter the weather. ?

Just dug my queen out of her driveway. Lake effect is very localized. I have nothing, and a few miles west, she had a foot. Booger-icicles are fun.

My drive to work this morning was like driving through a frozen wasteland. Negative temperatures, not a soul on the roads, cars spun out and abandoned. and the only sound is the wind whipping through the frozen snow banks.

I'm pretty disappointed in mother nature this morning....it was only -1. They were saying last night it was supposed to be around -10 by the big lake and -14 in my neck of the woods. For some crazy reason they canceled school this morning. I imagine it was because of the cold because several schools were closed, however it was open 2 weeks ago when it was -16. Oh well, they still have a few snow days left before they'll have to start making days up in June.

-16 this morning here (without the wind chill).

Forecast for the middle of next week is calling for temps up in the mid 30's and RAIN.

That should be a wonderful mess . . . . .

Our forcast for the end of next week I believe Friday and Saturday is 40, 35, then Sunday 17. Wonderful mess is an understatement.

-1°F.  Winds are really whipping.  Schools cancelled.  Roads are terrible.  At work, though.

Am I the only one with good weather to report?  Today in the mid 40's is the coldest of the next 5 days.  By Tuesday we are supposed to be in the 60's before the next possible cold front finds us.  Having a heat wave. B)

Yes you are the only one.

It's very deceiving out. Hardly a cloud in the sky the sun shining bright, then I get out of my truck to a balmy 7*F
