Wow! Between oil and fuel I couldn't afford to actually fish lol ? 1 Quote

Most of our lakes are smaller than 500 acres. The biggest in the state is only 16k acres, and there's only 3 or 4 bigger than 10k. I don't do a lot of running. 1 Quote

AndrewJ Posted December 25, 2017 Posted December 25, 2017 Restock my roboworms and dropshot hooks. Replenish my ball head jigs and some GY grubs and that puts me at about 50. 2 Quote
mbtharp1 Posted December 25, 2017 Posted December 25, 2017 I got a $50 BPS card for christmas, and I'm going to buy 3 Evergreen Jackhammer chatterbaits because I could never pay the price for them out of pocket, it would hurt too much lol. 1 1 Quote
Super User the reel ess Posted December 26, 2017 Super User Posted December 26, 2017 Braid line, terminal tackle, lures I either want more of or want to try for the first time. Or maybe I scour the sites looking for closeout rods and reels. Or I sock it away and add to it later to get the matching spare wheel/tire for my Jeep. 1 Quote

Porkrind Posted December 26, 2017 Author Posted December 26, 2017 Any recommendations for a set of bibs and jacket? Quote
AC870 Posted December 26, 2017 Posted December 26, 2017 I bought the H2O bibs and jacket at Academy. Caught em on sale a year or so back and actually got both pieces for $100. I dunno how it compares to the higher dollar stuff but it’s nicest raincoat I’ve owned. I got a $100 bill burning a hole in my pocket after Christmas and not sure what I’m going to do either. 1 Quote
Porkrind Posted December 26, 2017 Author Posted December 26, 2017 I’ve actually looked at those and they didn’t seem to bad at all. Sounds like you got a good deal on yours Quote
Super User Boomstick Posted December 26, 2017 Super User Posted December 26, 2017 I will save it towards my canoe fund. Although a nice fishing backpack is also in order this season, as is a ML spinning rod for drop shotting Quote
Porkrind Posted December 27, 2017 Author Posted December 27, 2017 Well I don’t know much about it but I bought my son his first baitcast rod today. Caught it on sale for $20. It’s a Diawa Aird-X rod, and I think I’m going to buy him an Abu Black Max to go on it. I think for his first setup this will be easy to use and fairly inexpensive. Oh and the bibs and rain jacket are next. Quote
Super User Bankbeater Posted December 27, 2017 Super User Posted December 27, 2017 $50 would pay for a nice dinner with the wife. 1 1 Quote

Dorado Posted December 28, 2017 Posted December 28, 2017 I would buy a dozen Norman Deep Lil N Crankbaits from TW like today. Crazy sale and their colors seem endless. 1 Quote
