Has anybody tried this stuff? It's a frog scented fish attractant.I was messing around on the internet when I ran into it.Some of the claims seem pretty outragous but I ordered one anyway.I really like the fact it comes in a dispenser like chap stick,no need to get it on your hands.Anyway would love to hear any of you have tried it.

Hm, I've held my share of frogs as a kid, but I never recall them having much of a distinct odor. I'm not a believer in dousing my lures with additional scents. I don't think it helps attract fish. My fishing partner IS a believer, but he rarely outfishes me when he's using that type of stuff.

Frog scent just sounds (smells?) like another gimmick to catch fishermen. ;)

I dont use fish attractants to attract fish.I use them as a lubricant.I put them on my frogs to make it easier to slide through the lillypads. Also on the hookset you want the frog to slide through the mouth of the bass so the hooks will set properly. Lubricant aids this process. Now if it attracts fish,so much the better.

Bass actually inhale the bait, not suck it in like a spaghetti noodle.  ;D

At $7.95, hopefully it's the new biggest thing in fish scents, err "lubricants".  ;)

Let us know how you like it after you tested it out a bit! Good luck!

I think most frogs are toxic anyhow they have a bitter taste (Dont ask) i know the tadpoles put off a smell that bass dont like .When bass bust a frog they swallow it whole they dont sniff it first so thats why they eat um not cause of there scent just a reaction for feeding

actually hes got a very good point about using it as lubricant. its reccomended on high quality soft swim baits to keep the plastic fresher and lubricated. and specially on frogs when you have to push the plastic down to set the hook, lube would work nicely there.

The part that really got me is where the ad says if you put the attractant on just a plain hook you will catch fish (ha). And they put it in the survival packs of the US Special Forces. If a fish will hit a hook with only frog hog on it that is truly a fish attractant and I've got to try it.I will let you know.

OH, these dudes are slick.

A world leader?    Odd, I never heard of them have you?

Here's my favorite.

Frog Hog Fishing Attractant Scent fish attractant is the same formula that INVISATRAX FISH SCENT PRODUCTS offered and provided to the U.S.A. Military Special Forces for there survival Kits. Frog Hog formula has been Proven and confirmed, that fish will bite a bare hook, with only Frog Hog Fishing Attractant Scent Formula applied.

Offered and provided.   Note, it doesn't say that the army actually bought thier crap.

As far as fish hitting a bare hook, well it's happened to me more than once.

Throw a shiny gold hook in front of some bluegill enough times and you'll catch some.

This stuff doesn't just smell like a gimmick.  It REEKS
