jayhawkfishin Posted December 2, 2006 Posted December 2, 2006 There is a Sportsman's Warehouse about 2 hours away from me that i have been to once and I love it. They have real quality stuff and different brands than most local shop as well. I have a Cabelas about 30 minutes away from my house and I think the S.W. has better bait selection than the Cabelas. Cabelas has more rods and reels however. Quote
Super User flechero Posted December 2, 2006 Super User Posted December 2, 2006 I will be at Sportsman's Warehouse tomorrow morning at 10 am... I'll be the guy at the door at 9:55 looking at his watch. ...lol I live in a small town with only a wal-mart (there is Academy in the next town) so I make a run to Sportsman's about every couple weeks, it's only a 45 minute drive and I like the selection. SteveKickinBass Posted December 2, 2006 Posted December 2, 2006 I've been in the Sportsman a few times in Lafayette. They have a wide range and selection of lures, but I didn't think they had a very good rod selection at all. The place is set up really nice though. Quote
Keithscatch Posted December 2, 2006 Posted December 2, 2006 I wish we had a Sportsman Warehouse out here in Florida. Those stores are awesome. I am so big bait store challenged out here in Florida it is sad. When I lived in Lewisville, Tx. I was 10 minutes from BPS, 5 minutes to Academy, and 5 minutes to Sportsman Warehouse. It was incredible. All of these stores have a bunch of stuff too. Quote
