Joshua Vandamm Posted December 17, 2017 Posted December 17, 2017 Anybody tried this for attracting bass baitfish? Green should still bring in the plankton eaters even if it only covers a smaller area right? thanks! Quote
Joshua Vandamm Posted December 24, 2017 Author Posted December 24, 2017 Daytime green light? Nobody?? Quote
Tim Kelly Posted December 24, 2017 Posted December 24, 2017 I expect putting a brush pile in the water would be a more traditional way to attract bass. Quote
Super User WRB Posted December 26, 2017 Super User Posted December 26, 2017 It would be dependant on how deep the light was submerged during the day time. The thought that plankton is bright green isn't correct, you maybe confushing plankton with algae? Both zoo and phyto plankton tend to be nearly transparent. Tom Quote

Tom Phytoplankton/cyanobacteria etc. It's the color that supposedly draws bait fish at night. Should the same no hold true during the day? Depth probably around 30 ft. Or less depending on brightness and water clarity Quote
