So the gift card is mailed to you after you take delivery of the boat?

Emailed 2 weeks later. Coincidentally the same day I received my discount card in the mail.

I got my gift card last night so I’m going to go shopping after work today! Need some anchors and some tackle that hurricane Harvey took from me.

How long did it take for you to get the gift card???

It had plenty of throttle left to play with just trying to abide by the motor break in procedure.

Just shy of 2 weeks from pick up date of boat.

So while I wait, I've been kicking around a few ideas.  Since it only has an RPM gauge, anyone thinking about putting in anymore gauges?   From what I've read, speedometers are almost a waste of time.  They clog and end up unusable after awhile, don't know. What about an hour meter or volt meter?  These look like they might be a good match.

Yes, the trolling motor pedal can be moved around.

New to forum. Just ordered my 40th anniversary tracker this past Thursday. Can’t wait. Do I have to change transducer if I upgrade with lowrance head unit combo with gps ?

Saw it in person at ge boat show yesterday. It’s really pretty nice. Simple, every thing you need and not overkill. The color is actually pretty sharp in person. Congrats to all you that are getting one.

Yes you are most likely going to have to swap out the transducer for the one that comes with the Finder that has the GPS.

Interesting.  I'm not looking to be that phone dependent :others-288:

I am just going to go off the gps of my fishfinder.  Figure no reason to complicate things.

I will only have the finder that comes with it.  I'm trying to hold off on buying a bunch of stuff right now until I actually get the boat.  I figure I will know better what I want after I get it out on the water.  Basics like PFD's, some rope...I have already, but my buying list is getting longer the more I have to wait :2vrolijk_08:.

Isn't that the truth! Fortunately I have a smaller boat with a better trolling motor and finder that are being the first upgrades the Heritage.  Hoping to talk my CFO (wife)  out of the money for a trolling motor foot pedal tray which would be the next of the upgrades.
