Probably less about beefing it up and more about displacing the force

I didn't think they were beefing it up for good looks.

I received my Heritage Tracker on September 24th, I ordered it just under the wire on March 15th. It is a 2019 model. It does have the “beefed up” plate on the transom. It has a hook2 x 4 horizontal depth finder. All other features are the same as I have seen on the various videos.

During one of my four outings, I found the front seat to be annoying while running. I am considering removing the passenger’s seat, from the hinge, and replacing it with a carpeted piece of plywood with another swivel base. I could then install the front seat into that base while running. I would then have a step up to the rear deck when the seat is removed and mounted, on the pedestal, up front. My only concern is that it will swivel during runs and beat up the upholstery. What doyou all think of this idea?

I don't see why it would not work.

I personally hate the front seat. Only use it if the water is rough, to keep me from falling out of the boat.

fortunately mine fits in one of the lockers under the deck.

It's your boat, do what is comfortable for you.  Take pics and post of your progress when you do it. :Captain:

Just noticed on jaimes new video that there seems to be an aluminum plate between top bolts on transom.Dont remember mine having that.

I noticed that mystery plate is listed at BPS.

I want that jack plate!!  No telling what that jewel costs!

Only $825.00 at your local Bass Pro shop for a 5.5" lift   And T-H marine has a 10" lift for a mere $1157  :D

Hey y'all, I'm new to the forum! I picked up one of the last 2018 Heritage models back in October (I know, I lucked out). I just got her back from the shop after having some "new" (40-year-old) electronics installed, including a Humminbird Tom Mann Super Sixty and a Bottomline Sidefinder. She's definitely looking the part of a retro boat now...

Here is the video.

Nice.  Are you still working on Part 2?  I'd like to see that equipment in action.

Love it. All you need now is some pistol grip Skyline rods, 5500c Ambassaduer reels and a pack of Creme worms.

O yea, welcome to the forum.

Been watching this thread off & on since before I got my Heritage back in March. Seems like we all have pretty similar ideas for upgrades. I went with Garmin Stryker 7sv on the console, Stryker 5dv on the bow, Bimini top, & led deck lighting so far. Has anyone upgraded their troller? Was looking into a Minn Kota PowerDrive w/ ipilot. Really want that jack plate & a couple power pole micros, someday...

Was also wanting to upgrade to terrova or powerdrive, but wondering if cover will still fit?I also went with striker 7sv on console. My lake has no maps so quickdraw has been amazing.Would be awesome to have spotlock.

Just picked this up from Bass Pro. Winter will not stop me from fishing! Mods to begin later. Still will miss my heritage until spring.

I wouldn't get your hopes up with the cover fitting. Both the Terrova and PD mount differently than cable steer motors and the shaft and gps head ride higher up when in the stowed position.

That might be a deal breaker for me. As bad as I want it, I keep mine in the driveway, meaning I depend on my cover to keep her out of the weather.
