Mindspread Posted May 21, 2018 Posted May 21, 2018 I noticed while checking the wire bundle at the transom. There was a small diameter tube that is not connected to anything. It's not long enough to reach the motor or anything in the bildge. My guess is that like automotive manufactures they use one bundle for many different types of units to accommodate different options. May be this is for and oil pressure gage? Apologies if this has been covered there has already been a lot of discussion with guys that got there boats sooner. Quote
jaimeastin Posted May 21, 2018 Posted May 21, 2018 Fished in the BPS Open in folsom over the weekend in my Heritage. I didn't have anyone to fish with me, since I decided to get in 2 days before. There was a 14 year old fishing from the bank, his mom let him go with me. We had a great time and caught our limit... Lots of small bass caught with the largest for us being under 4 lbs. We didn't win, but we kept up with others in boats $$$... NOt that we were trying to keep up, I was playing my game and it paid off... but just not enough pounds. It was fun... The winner a heritage boat. It would have been cool to win a heritage boat while fishing from a heritage boat. This boat is now tournament tested. 7 Quote

SeriousBlack Posted May 22, 2018 Posted May 22, 2018 Bass don't care what boat you fish from. But they will learn to fear the Heritage! Quote

Super User J Francho Posted May 24, 2018 Super User Posted May 24, 2018 Changing a LU is not that big a deal. Pretty much the same steps as when you change the water pump. Quote
Zigkx Posted May 24, 2018 Posted May 24, 2018 Just a heads for those still waiting, I called tracker 3 days ago for a monthly update, they said it would be beginning of July when my boat would arrive. ( I ordered February 20th ) my dealer called me yesterday and said my boat has arrived and is ready for pick up. I’m assuming I got someone else’s that bailed on there’s? 1 Quote

Brobbins Posted May 25, 2018 Posted May 25, 2018 So I contacted my dealer today to let them know I had received the email saying my boat was shipped, then they tell me that there are 7 people in front of me for the boat and they have only been getting 2-3 boats a month so then she asked about the email again and said she would contact tracker and see what they said, they told her since I had received the email saying it had shipped that they had to honor it so it looks like I may get the next heritage the comes into the dealership!! Zigkx Posted May 25, 2018 Posted May 25, 2018 I had called tracker to sign up for the emails so I could be notified. The lady I spoke to said she had no idea who or why those emails were going out and that they weren’t accurate. I never got a call or an email and my boat showed up out of the blue. Pretty strange Quote
Brobbins Posted May 25, 2018 Posted May 25, 2018 I called tracker and they verified the email and said my boat had been shipped on the 17th 1 Quote

I was at a location where commercial internet connectivity was hit or miss and by the time I got back to my main operating base and attempted to order the heritage, it was missing from the site. I called BPS Corporate HQ and they informed me that the best they could do was send me the number for the nearest BPS to see what they could do. I called and was placed on a waiting list in the event someone cancelled an order. I received an email yesterday letting me know that I was officially on the boat order list of customers and I made my deposit. I know that many of the good folks on this site have been waiting for a while since their order, but fortunately or unfortunately (depending on how you look at it), I will receive my boat 1 1/2 months after I redeploy. I can't wait. Hope you enjoy the boat, thank you for your service, and you should be moved to the head of the line anyway....imho Quote
The1Fist Posted May 27, 2018 Posted May 27, 2018 Got my boat May 10th, and loving it so far EXCEPT one thing: cranking battery dies every outing. I'm pretty sure the electronics are wired to the cranking battery, and may be the cause. I can tell because two days ago I added another troll battery in parallel and those Batts hardly budge in voltage. Any thoughts? Quote

If it isn't already, including your cranking battery to your 'charging system' with your trolling motor battery(s) can help ensure you start each trip with a full charge. Does require a separate / additional bank on the charger though. A-Jay Quote
