What's new on my boat.

I installed ratcheting straps on my trailer.  In one of my videos I made a comment that the ones that come with the boat are enough to get you home.  That's true.  Mine kept popping open.  The ratchet straps made for quick launch and hookup over weekend when went fishing.  The straps and mount bracket was about $60 OtD...  You can get less on amazon, I bought locally.

Like many have mentioned, I am now in the same boat...  I lost a moon hubcap.  I just took the other off and will put baring covers on.  The moon hubs are chrome on the outside, but tarnish and rush on the inside... :(

We are getting rain in NorCal, but I have the boat out of the garage.  The cover is one, but I have a tarp over the engine to prevent water from getting into the boat.  I don't mind the water, but my driveway is at a slop and my boat is currently not raised up enough for the water to go out of the drain hole... I do not want the bow to fill up with water.  I also have a "No Damp" canister under the cover to aid in the removal of trapped moisture.

Just an update.  How is everyone else doing?

Nor cal huh I’m in the Same area can’t wait to get my boat if you don’t mind when and where did you order from. The rains finally gone and I’m ready to fish. The bps in San Jose is not very helpful at all they have not called or updated me on the boat. iv called them and the only response I get is scheduled for production it’s been 2 months I would really just like a delivery date even if it is may or June the suspense is Killing me. Anyway keep ur lines tight an I’ll still be bank fishing ripping lips until she comes in.

I thought getting the free cover, a free $400.00 gift card, discounts, great price, etc. was a great deal, but chrome salad bowls takes the cake! This boat keeps on giving! I love it!

This site has been so informative.   I was holding off on the order but pulled the trigger around March 10th.   I am told I will be getting the boat first week of July a few weeks in advance of annual fishing trip.  Hope I don’t get bumped!

Looking at these posts I will eventually upgrade to 3 batteries so am looking at 3 bank chargers.   Anyone have. Recommendation?   Also where I live many lakes are limited to 10hp so I am thinking I will be swapping 40hp in and out with a 9.9hp.   Anyone see any issue with that?  Any idea how a 9.9 hp will move the boat?

I'm up there as well. The "boat monkey" is the monkey on your back talking you into buying a boat. The "bait monkey" is the monkey on your back talking you into buying baits

I have a pro Mariner 20+.  It is a triple bank charger.  I just bought a matching interstate battery so I can run my trolling motor with two at 12v.  Buy it from Amazon as it is $150-160.  It will charge the batteries much faster as it is not limited to 5 amps per bank. It will amalyze the batteries and give the most needing the most amps while balanicing the rest.  It is all about priorities people, lol!  It will of course do battery maintainance charging.  I believe charge time is 6-8 hours.

@Fish bait

I originally went to BPS in manteca to buy the floor room boat they had instock in Dec 30th... But they sold it to someone else.  I put a deposit down... But I decided that I didnt want to drive to manteca or any other BPS and moved my deposit to a local tracker dealer on Jan 10. The delay was due to the local stores being closed for week Christmas/New Year's.

I bought mine from Gone Fishin' Marine in Dixon, CA.  It was a good experience.  We kept in touch with Email and phone.  They understood our eagerness to get information on the boat.

Did a compare and just picked up the Pro Mariner 20 plus from Amazon.  I’ll try this out on my trolling motor battery this season until the Tracker comes in.  I have been using 20 year old car battery charger, so it is time to upgrade anyway.

Put the order in beginning of January just waiting. I go to get tackle at bass pro but I know its just to stare at the floor model and bug them about my boat. Now spend my time researching accessories. When im extremely bored I stare at google maps and look at all the places to launch from near me on the delta.

I completely understand... Was there.  I still look at the brochure when I am at work and I have the boat.  I was doing the same thing before I got the boat.

I picked mine up yesterday everything looked great, had a very small tear on one of the seat covers from shipping, BPS ordered a brand new one and had it sent to my residence. while doing my paperwork I also ordered five extra feet of carpet to install a deck extension/extra storage. ($16.50 a foot..) I towed my heritage 1 1/2 hours back home hubcaps stayed on no issues with straps I'm very happy with my purchase. new fish finder a must, Bass Pro and Tracker employees at the Bristol location were great to deal with very smooth and painless.

Jealous that you got the matching carpet, lol!  How many feet  did you order?

It comes in 96 inch reams so I ordered five feet extra so that's a pretty good chuck...plenty enough to do the deck extension I want to do. The Tracker parts guy at my local BPS actually had to call Tracker boats to figure out where to find the part number to order but he was more than willing to assist. don't use a regular employee at BPS use the shop parts rep from tracker in the service department.

Did you all see this?  For anyone who missed out on the Heritage, tracker has make the Pro 160 into a similar deal

You can now get a free dowco cover and $400 gift card on a purchase of the Pro 160.  As we all know it is the same layout as the heritage, but it is 16'2" rather than 16'18".
