I ordered mine Feb 4, yet they are telling me it won’t be in till May. Does anybody know how this supposed to work?

I'd say Bass tracker is trying to ship to every dealer so if you had a big demand at the dealer you purchased from it may delay your order a little longer or just a large demand nationwide issue. I'm not sure on that tho just taking a guess.. mine was purchased at Bass Pro, Bristol TN..

It's too bad Tracker Marine doesn't have an order inquiry web page. Until the Heritage came along there probably wasn't a need. I wonder if the dealers are getting tired of "When will my Heritage be in?" questions.

As for me, I ordered on the afternoon of 2/16 and the salesperson told me an email was sent out that morning to inform all dealers from this date forward orders will not me fulfilled until June or later. I'll wait until early May before contacting BPS for the order status.

I put down my deposit on my boat March 10th and was told that my boat would be ready around early August.  I got a phone call from Tracker today informing me that my delivery date has been pushed back until mid December.  Initially, I was miffed for a second, but similar to when I was initially told August, it quickly occurred to me that I have waited about 25 years to get my own boat already.  A few more months isn't going to kill me.

The guy I talked to on the phone told me I was the last person to be called on his list, and literally no one that was contacted wanted a refund on their deposit.

I also ordered on th 10th, I was told late August.. i didnt receive a phone call.

Others suggested that Tracker might be spreading out the deliveries by location.  Perhaps my delay was because my BPS sold a bunch of boats, and you won't be affected.

I ordered on March 3rd. Salesman said 6-8 weeks...they now say my boat is in production and will be at BPS on 5/9 (13 weeks). They also said I was the 5th to order from that BPS and that as of 3/16 they had only delivered 2 heritage's. They also sold a total of 12 boats before the stop sale order.

The side rails on the boat are very narrow when compared to its more expensive cousins. Does anybody know for sure how wide it is? I am scouring the web for rod holder ideas and want the width of the rail to keep in mind.

Looking at something like this because a regular scotty flush mount might be too wide and the hole too deep to accommodate.  http://scotty.com/product/no-340-track-adaptor-copy-copy-2/

That’s fast!  Mine was said mid June and I ordered feb 23.  We’re only a few hundred miles from the factory.  Still debating on the pro175.  Can’t make up my mind..

I already bought a 2 bank charger and the spare for the heritage, a while back.

The season is so short here in Michigan that if I waited for the Heritage I would miss the whole season. So I took a pro 170 off the floor. It costs a bit more but its basically the same boat built on the same floor plan. The important thing for me is I wont miss any of the season. For all of you that have a heritage congrats to you all and for those of you still waiting you are getting a great deal on an awesome boat.

I'm kinda glad they don't I would be spending to much time checking the status. Is it done now bahh, how about now. But it would also be cool to track the status of your unit as it goes through the various production steps.

I ordered on Feb 8th and was told yesterday by my dealer that mine is scheduled to come off production on May 6th. So mid May at the earliest for me. I ordered from a local dealer in WV.

It will be right on time when you get it.  Maybe less rushed.  I have spots in my carpet where they cut too soon and other little things.  You will have one of freshest boats and a lot of information to what exactly you want to do with the boat, if anything.

I would have done the same.  Once I was committed to buying a boat, I could have been upsold.  We really like the uniqueness of the heritage boat, so I am happy we got in as early as we did... I can only thank my wife for pushing me to go get the boat.  I was thinking in Dec that no one would want this boat and I would just go to BP and buy it off the floor.  Boy was I wrong... They sold the demo boat before I could get it and then I wasn't even the first in line that day to place order, LOL!

You also got a larger tank and deck, both of which I am trying to compensate for, lol!  You also have a larger rod storage that can be used for other items and a larger live well.  You paid a little more, but you will be fishing and not miss a dime.  I am happy we are all doing this together, even if a few are not on the heritage, its the community that I am having a lot of fun with.  Do not leave us, your boat is so similar.  The heritage is an unpainted mix of the 160 and 170.

Congrats!

Happy Birthday!  Ours was Christmas, that we then hoped would be delivered valentines day... which led to the first of march.  Congrats!  Some dealers were proactive and ordered more boats without orders ahead of time.

I ordered mid Jan and no word on when it will be here

That's interesting... I hope your dealer didn't slip up and procrastinate.

I originally had mine at a local BPS DEC 30th... But they were almost 2 hours away from me.  So BPS and Tracker agreed to move it to my local dealer 15 mins away.  The only reason I did not order from them is they were closed for so much of the holidays... I could not get it all order from them until Jan 10.  Thankfully, everything was already in the system, so all we did was changed deposit locations.  Everyone worked it out for us.

That's why I am hoping they did not sit on your order.  You are a rock's throw away from the mfg...  I would think you would have yours by now.

A little bit of information for you guys. I submitted my Minn Kota Edge for the Minn Kota rebate and was able to get a rebate of $25. I know it is not a lot but is something but between this one and the onboard charger rebate it paid for the 2 bank onboard charger.. Just went to their site and registered the Minn Kota SN and a copy of the boat order I had from BPS.

$25 dollars is $25 dollars. :D

Yes it is!  I keep finding mess to buy so all in all, it is good for me!  If was not so adamant about running 3 batteries, I would have bought the 2 bank charger and got the rebate for it.

I ordered my Heritage Feb 27.....have not heard from anyone...Is it tracker that calls you or the dealer...I bought from a small independent boat dealer local......Have noooooooo idea when to expect mine....cannot find anything on the net to get this information......so just waiting in la la land...lol

I have no clue as to how tracker decides to schedule the boats.  You could be December or yours could be at the dealers today.   Sounds whacky to me.

And you won't!  I actually emailed my local dealer for updates.  I then went by to see them and shake hands... Meet the parts.  Little things to say, hey, I am here and ready to pay.  I met with finance and that's where I saw the board.  Just like car sales, there is a board with the sales on it.  The dealers know when the boat is being made and shipped.  Just be nice and hopefully they will give up the information.  They don't want to be bombarded with questions... Especially since this thing is so popular.

The shipping is going across the nation and world

.. the boats are batched by location and such so that they can get a group of boats on a truck.

Has anyone had their delivery moved earlier because someone in line before them took the demo boat?
