You wont have access to actually add to cart, just find part # and price, then call dealer to order. I have used this to order parts for my Heritage and it is awesome.  https://tracnet.trackermarine.com › COPM › NewSerial01 YOUR THE MAN.thank you very much for link. Quote

Very nice. We don't have Chinook here. Maybe I'll get a chance to catch one some day. I'm heading out in about ten minutes to do some bass fishing in the Altamaha River. Maybe I'll have the same heritage luck as you. Quote

Terrance Waters Posted October 13, 2019 Posted October 13, 2019 I was fishing a small lake today with my daughter. At the ramp I saw another man with a heritage and struck up a conversation with him. Turns out he purchased his last year about the same time as me. This was the first time I've seen another heritage in the same lake I've fished. It was a rare sighting. We had a great conversation, almost like we were in an exclusive club. My daughter who is now now 9 caught the most and the biggest fish. It was a great day. 4 Quote
boostr Posted October 14, 2019 Posted October 14, 2019 Saw a classic yesterday. Ive seen several Heritage/ Classics around this lake. Quote
jaimeastin Posted October 16, 2019 Posted October 16, 2019 I have seen a couple heritages leave the lake as I was going in. I saw a guy with a classic when they first came out. I went over at talked to him on the water. The dealer gave him their showroom model, so he didn't even wait.  I agree, it is like we are in a cool club with this boat. We all know what it is not, but we also know what we have. We have a boat that first sold out and then has spawned more people to just get this model boat and go fishing. A glass boat would be nice for the wind, but I love this boat. It is just right for me. 4 Quote
Bolar Posted November 17, 2019 Posted November 17, 2019 It's been quite here lately . Last season when I changed my lower unit oil for the first time, I noticed the plug screws were not very tight. I probably could have taken them out with my finger nail, and of course I had water in the oil. All summer in the back of my mind I'm wondering about the lower unit and water. Fast forward to this fall and I changed the oil...no water . Kind of a relief. 2 Quote
jaimeastin Posted November 18, 2019 Posted November 18, 2019 Just took my boat out this evening. Had a great time. Hunting has taking me away from fishing, lol! Had to get some in and had a great time. I just love this boat.   Once I get don't hunting, I just might go ahead and pull the trigger on the Garmin force. I just need and an ATV or keep/small truck for hunting. 1 Quote
Mw Michaelis Posted November 25, 2019 Posted November 25, 2019 Saying adios I sold my heritage went back to ranger the heritage was just to small to under powered for my needs. Good starter boat just was not for me. Pretty bad took delivery june 2018 and 18 months later only 27 hours. Just got to be more of a headache for me instead of being a good downsizing for me. Went with the ranger 1880ms. Enjoy your boats. It just was not for me. 1 Quote

ratman Posted December 8, 2019 Posted December 8, 2019 Wanting to upgrade to 24 volt terrova.Just wondering if anyone has put one on their heritage yet. Quote
keithsmith Posted December 10, 2019 Posted December 10, 2019 I put a 12v 55lb Terrova on my boat back in August. Best upgrade yet. I run two batteries in series for the 12v, but could have just a easily put them in parallel and ran a 24v TM. I put my batteries in the small storage compartment under the front deck with a battery charger and used the original TM wiring to charge the cranking battery. A side benefit of this is that the boat is balanced better, especially when I moved the gas tank to the other side as well.  If you check out the Heritage owners page in Facebook, you will find many post, photos, and set-ups for the Terrova. Since the Terrova in much larger than the Edge, don't plan on using your original cover on the boat unless you put a quick disconnect on the TM so you can remove it when you put the cover on. There are also options for mounting as it won't fit in the same position as the Edge.   One other thing I learned is that the GPS puck should be close to the middle of the boat. I initially mounted mine on the bow but moved it to the side next to the shifting lever. Works better in iPilot anchor mode. I also found the universal sonar on the Terrova is very good and use it almost exclusively to fish from the bow. As a reminder, if you mount a Lowrance fishfinder on the bow, you will need an adapter cable to connect the sonar. I think the Terrova is set up for a Hummingbird FF, but my Lowrance Ti2 works just fine with the adapter cable.  Hope this info helps 1 1 Quote
Zigkx Posted December 11, 2019 Posted December 11, 2019 I put the power drive with I pilot on mine. My boat had issues not running, one dealer put a fuel pump on it (didn’t fix it) and the next dealer put a fuel tank on it because it wasn’t venting and vapor locking. Any way, while it was at the dealer they fitted my cover to fit the bigger trolling motor. 1 Quote

I fished a tournament... Used the calming juice, cool water, etc. I had 2 fish get very lethargic... One I was penalized for had I gone with my first mind, I would have used the cooler. I wired up a new aerator earlier in the year. I have it in the live well for now, but it is ready to go into any cooler. I am still planning the deck extension. What I would do is make a livewell run the water lines from the current live well to the new one and used the current well for storage.   You need to keep the fish alive. The size is not the biggest issue other than keeping them alive :). If I would have had 5 good fish, they would have been on top of one another and possibly preventing one or all from breathing. I did just buy a new culling system. I plan to fish tournaments this next year again. GPG Posted December 31, 2019 Posted December 31, 2019 I remember reading Bassaholic's post on December 15th in 2017 starting this topic.  With the ads from Bass Pro and the posts here I got excited and ordered my (first) boat on January 10th of 2018.  Picked it up in March.  All the posts here have been so informative and helped me along the way with my new adventure.  And it has been a wonderful adventure!  I'm 73 now and a little more unstable in the boat - balance is an issue sometimes.  Getting on and off the boat and deploying the trolling motor (Terrova) can be sketchy!  I don't want to give up fishing so I've decided to get a pontoon boat and sell (reluctantly) my Heritage.  Just putting the word out if anyone has friends that might be interested.  I'm in Northern California and the motor has 44 hours.  Terrova, Bimini top, etc. etc.  I'm asking 11k  Thanks for a great two years of information and fun and Happy New Year to everyone. 1 Quote
jaimeastin Posted December 31, 2019 Posted December 31, 2019 @GPG Well stick around. You have to do what you have to do to fish comfortably. heritage boat or not, don't stop fishing. What lakes you fish in NorCal? Maybe I will see you on the water. Quote
