I haven't been able to find a way to post a review, but I did send the Boating Sales Manager a copy of what I have posted on this forum.

Nice I'm sure they will appreciate your comments.

Ordered mine feb 2 was told 6 to 8 weeks haven’t heard anything back from bps San Jose ca so I hope all is well and it will be in by March 30 we will see.been the longest two months ever but just knowing I ordered the boat and have one coming makes everything better. Can’t wait to hit the water......

I ordered mine February 23rd in Northern CA. Before I put in my order, I asked BPS and the local dealer how long it would take to get it. BPS said 3 to 4 months, local dealer promised 6 to 8 weeks. Now sitting at 10 weeks and I called the local dealer last week and they promised that boat would be on the lake by early May. Called BPS and they told me my boat is “pending production” and estimated time of completion is June 27th and that it would take an additional 2 to 3 weeks for delivery. Putting it right at that 4 month mark. I asked the local guys again and they told me that BPS doesn’t know what they are talking about.... but yet I still don’t have to boat....

I must say my visit to BPS was the best experience I have had when getting service done. The issue with my front pedestal mount was that the factory forgot the 2 screws on the passenger side of the bracket. With the bracket being under the carpet I worked with the technician and decided that I wanted to "through" bolt it going through the plywood decking and the aluminum under it to make sure it would stay secure. When taking out the 2 screws that the factory had installed it became evident that they used blind captive nuts on the underside of the plywood to screw into. I had the technician drill out the captive nuts and use through bolts on all of the mounting holes. With the countersunk machine screws that we used, the carpet is thick enough that it does a good job covering the screw heads. They also ordered the hubcaps that I lost. All in all a good day. The BPS in Pearland, Tx gets my vote for giving great service.

Do you happen to know part or item number for hubcaps.Nearest bps probably 500 miles away, none in oregon, never even laid eyes on one.

Hi all, been lurking and reading this topic for about a month..One question I have on this heritage model is how does it handle some wind, and small white cap waves? All the pics I have seen of it in the water has always been flat/calm water. Is the hull anything similar to the PT175, as in the same style but narrower hull?

I have one of these on order, was told I may see it in mid july. I have yet to see one of these in person, and my dealer hasnt been the most helpful when I have asked to atleast let me take a look at one of these before their other customers pick theirs up. I'm close to the point of asking for a refund and purchasing another model.

It's been good to hear and see many of you on here getting your boats. There been alot that I have learned about these on here...I'm not going to admit being a little envious! Nope, not me!

I've been in some windy water and wakes and we handled fine.  I was worried about they as well.  The videos are in the nice backwood lakes... I wish in deep lakes and reservoirs that are always windy through certain channels.

I will make a video in near future.

Thanks for responding Jaime, I have watched a few of your videos, and it looks like your having fun out there. I have had 3 boats, and one of them being a newer model Tracker pt175txw, and it handled the white caps ok where I fish, but felt the 60hp merc was a little under powered. I was planing on something like the pt190 in about 2 more years when my truck is paid for, and thought maybe this heritage model would be something that could get me on the water for the meantime until I can get back into a bigger boat. Where I usually fish I have a window of about 2-4 hours before the winds pick up in the morning and then its time to load up and head for home or work. I'm just a little curious how well this model will do, and how wet one might get.

If your dealer has a pro 170 look it over as it has the same hull as the Heritage and the same floor plan of the pro 160. At least it will give you an idea of what to expect on your Heritage while you wait.

If you are leaving it running the whole time you are fishing my guess is its over heating. That's just a guess on my part maybe somebody else has a better answer.

Thanks for the input. I'll have to see if I can find one to look at.

I think you will find the performance similar to your 175, if not a little less with the 40hp Merc :dontknow:.  I was out last weekend in some 20+mph wind and did OK.  I had to anchor to fish in any one spot, but moved along under power with little splash in the boat.

My second trip out I went to a larger lake and had some wind and waves.  I did get some splash at full speed but I was able to control it by slowing down some.  This is my first boat, so I don't really know any different.  As long as the shinny side stays down, I figure I'm good!  :Bass_Boat:

Sorry I don't have the order paperwork, so I don't have the item numbers.

I am currently deployed in Afghanistan and was here when the boat was announced in December but wanted to wait awhile.  I was at a location where commercial internet connectivity was hit or miss and by the time I got back to my main operating base and attempted to order the heritage, it was missing from the site.  I called BPS Corporate HQ and they informed me that the best they could do was send me the number for the nearest BPS to see what they could do.  I called and was placed on a waiting list in the event someone cancelled an order.  I received an email yesterday letting me know that I was officially on the boat order list of customers and I made my deposit.  I know that many of the good folks on this site have been waiting for a while since their order, but fortunately or unfortunately (depending on how you look at it), I will receive my boat 1 1/2 months after I redeploy.  I can't wait.

That's great!  I'm glad to hear that you were able to get in line for your boat.

Admins can delete if not allowed, but anyone wanna buy mine for a small premium? I sign for mine tomorrow.

Selling with a markup?  If someone wanted to do that they could just buy a pt170 themselves.

Some people really dig the special edition, so if someone was really partial to this specific model I was willing to sell. I'm not regretting my purchase whatsoever, but some folks may have an exceptional desire to own it for sentimental reasons or something like that. I personally just want a boat and this model allowed me to do so without payments.

I got the email Monday that my boat is built and headed to rigging. Then allow another 3to 4 weeks for delivery. This is going right along with the original schedule that had been told to me my bass pro. Can't wait tired of fishing from the shore. Although I have been able to catch bass the last couple days. They are starting to spawn and move up in the shallows here in nebraska.been using either a green pumpkin neko rigged worm or green pumpkin tube with a 3/16 tube jig.

Sorry this is a little off topic but does anyone use braid with flouracarbon leaders.I have been trying this out. the sensitivity is awesome but the zero stretch with a fish on makes them feel like everyone of them weigh 10 pounds. It feels like it puts a lot if stress on the rod witch it probably is.

To also be truthful the leader length is excessive.

This is way off topic.  Start a new topic in rods, reels, and line.
