I just keep a 1 gal can for emergency in between transom and fuel tank.

Yeah, I have a 2 gal I was going to put back there.  Just did some measurements... 2' 7" x 1 x 1 on each end where the gas tank is.  I might relocate the gas tank to the other side.

Can you post some pictures of how you have your batteries setup? I went with the Minn Kota 3 bank charger and that thing is huge! Trying to figure out how Im going to set it up.

Ok the first two pics show how I currently have the batteries.  I just have the charger on a board flat.  The third battery is in a battery box that I had.  The last picture shows have I had it mounted.  I will mount it back once I figure out the complete layout of what I ultimately plan.

I am waiting for that number to be released as well.  So many rumor numbers floating around.

Interesting.  I figured they would sell to April 15 regardless the number.  They are making money on them, why give that up?  At least those people at the factory have steady work through the summer.  They should have a party when the last one rolls off the line  :champagne-088:.

I love it.  Got us some rare ones boys!  UP that resale!

Wow, "all production through Dec 2018 has been committed", so that means the last order won't hit production till Dec?

After seeing the demand for the Bass Tracker, watch for another boat company to offer a similar deal on one of their boats.

Just talked to my local BPS to get the delivery date for my boat and they said 4100 heritages had been sold. It will be interesting to see if their number is accurate. They also said that the boats just ordered would be delivered in September?

Man, so happy to be in this limited run!  Would have been cool to see them numbered.  I know mine was made in February and shipped as soon as it's run was completed.

Congrats to everyone who got an order in.

Steady work, but will they get any time to go fishing? :(  I was a machinist, and when it got busy in the shop, I had some summers where my only memories are of working 70 hour weeks.  The overtime money was great, and was part of the reason why I was able to retire at 60, but I will still regret the absent recreational opportunities for those lost summers.

I'm not poopooing the rules, but this is what my boat came with when I bought it. Plus I didn't know there were rules about letter shape thought as long as its visible it was good.

Chances are they won't stop you for incorrect #'s. It's another fine they can add on if the CPO is having a bad day. My letters are a custom font.

It's an aluminum boat, the minute it's hooked up to your vehicle it looses 15 percent and the moment it touches water another 20 percent enjoy your "investment".

Sold my other battery and a trolling motor last night using Craigslist.  I bought a matching interstate battery.  Now I can run the trolling motor on parallel or just keep this one as a spare/electronics.

I also took the advice of Ratman and put my 2 gallon can in the boat.  I am still looking for a larger gas tank.  I might have to do some rearranging.  Once I get the new tank.

True, but if I was buying something to increase in value, it would never be a boat.  My investment is in my enjoyment.  There are other places to invest.

Thing is, there will always be a fisherman looking to buy a boat.   How much can you really lose in this boat?  Compared to more expensive boats... This boat will be a good and easy sell at any point in it's life.  When it hits it's lowest point, it will still be a great sell.  At they time, with use, it very well be a money maker.   A 30k boat in the same time frame will lose waaaaay more percentage wise... Same with fiberglass.

At the end of the day, a real fisherman doesn't care cause the fish sure don't.  Get out there and fish in what you have.  No need to justify or put down another.

I've only been out twice, stupid weather, but as far as I can figure I'm getting 3 hours out of the stock tank.  That was breaking-in, varying the throttle and all.

Right now I don't know if that is good or bad.   I'm going to wait and see if i need a bigger tank.:Captain:

When the engine loosens up you maybe able to run longer. According to this site (http://www.boat-fuel-economy.com/mercury-outboard-fuel-consumption-us-gallons) the engine doesn't start to consume 2 gal/hr until the low 4000 rpm range. Once I get the boat in June, I'll be able to provide better numbers.

Whether or not to add an additional tank will depend on where you fish. For me I'll probably add a tank for those days I'm using the boat for water sports with friends. For those that are looking for a second tank, there is a Mercury branded fuel tank (https://www.amazon.com/Mercury-Quicksilver-Tank-Gas-6-6Gal-25L-Trad-Epa/dp/B007D2J6M6  also at West Marine). The Mercury has more positive reviews than the Scepter tank and it's plug and play (includes tank fitting, hose, fuel demand valve, and female fuel connector).

Found this online. This person ordered a duplicate size gas tank and battery. It all fits. But man is that cramped. I guess that would be a good thing.

Do I wonder if this guy will just change the quick connect fuel line...  And how will he put gas in it?

What I am ultimately going to do is buy a larger tank, let's say 12 gallons.  I will just put the one tank in.  Rearange the batteries.  I know we have to keep balance... I wonder why track moved it starboard when all the marketing materials had it on the left?  Is it because of the trolling motor on the port side?

Thanks for the pic!
