Any loyalists for this line? It has been out for quite awhile. I remember using it years ago but for the life of me can't remember why i stopped.

Other than punching and frogging what would you not recommend this line for?

Also, anyone go by the OD instead of the rated test?

It's just the best all around monofilament line made. Any other questions?

IMHO, naturally!

I used it on a spare spinning rod once and it was great line. Very strong, tied easily, good abrasion resistance, and handled easily. No reason I didn't continue to use it other than it wasn't in any local stores and I didn't want to order it.

Everything everything baitcasting other than Frogging. Incredible stuff. Low stretch, low memory. abrasion resistant. Breaks at near double the label claim. Think CXX without the slinky effect.

Nice.  Another line to try.  :(  I can see why some people pick one line and stay with it.  Very easy to wind up with 10 different brands if you want to try all that others recommend as being great.

Better hope I don't try it.  Every time I get a new favorite line, it gets discontinued.  For YEARS I used Berkley Trilene Tournament Strength in Photochromic.  It was the best line ever.  Came in a Gold foil box.  Yep....discontinued.  I was able to stock up as stores cleared out their inventory and in the end even got some in Canada sent to me but after a while, I was starting to get questionable quality since it had been out of production.  Since I was sponsored by Bass Pro, I just went with their Excel and while it has been good, it's nowhere near what my old favorite was.

I bought some in 14lb. test whenever I bought my Curado K's so I could test them out before winter set it. It's worked nicely for me. It's worked well for jigs, swim jigs, squarebills, and 3/16oz swimbaits. So far, I'm impressed.
