They aren't cheap.

Or much to look at. :-X

But they will go almost as fast as a Bullit. ;D ;D ;D

From talking to people who have bought one. If your looking at something like the 21' sport or 21' bassboat your looking at a price around what a fully decked out top of the line bassboat goes for...but that's just a boat - no motor.

They're usually going by so fast that isn't a problem.

Definitely an acquired taste and one that's way beyond my pocketbook but I'd love to drive one for a day.  As for fishing out of them?  I can think of many boats that are laid out better.

I live about 25 miles from the Allison factory so there are a few around this area. However I can't remember ever seeing anyone fishing from one. In fact it is rare to see one with a trolling motor on it. I have seen several racing up and down the lake, usually in pairs. They are rockets!!!........................Al

Had a friend a few years back that ordered one .... waited months for it .... used it fro about 10 weeks and sold it.  He said it fished like chit.

If I were in the market for a rocketship to fish from I would look at a Bullet or Norriscraft. Both are fast and have a good reputation for fishability. All of these boats get a little more air time than this old body of mine can take, therefor I chose Champion........Al
