Congratulations to The 2018 Bassmaster Classic Champion ~ Jordan Lee

Only the third angler to win the Superbowl of bass fishing back to back.

He kept his head down, adapted to the constantly changing conditions, “fished hard and had fun”.

This one was a blast to watch live.

No Doubt ~

I have a few fishing hats older than that . . . .

I always thought Jordan Lee was a bit overrated. Boy was I wrong. Congrats to him!!! Can’t even imagine. Guys a stud.

About the spectator boats, if half the ones I've seen on the roads are on the water surely there has to be some interference

What is often overlooked is how close he was to winning the Classic while still in college, the 2014 one at Guntersville.  He went out the 1st day and fished like a college kid in the Classic, completely spun out.  Then amazingly, he composed himself the next 2 days and ended up in 6th.  At this young age, he has a Clunn like Zen quality to keep calm under the bright lights.

Pretty cool Classic! Christie has to be crushed! All he had to do is catch a limit. Watching Bass live I kept saying to myself he should slow down and flip some of those larger docks. But who knows, maybe that wouldn’t have produced anything. It just seemed like was fishing too fast.

One thing for sure though, Jordan Lee is for real and has some serious chops when it comes to catching bass! He earned both wins and that's impressive! Big congrats to him!

Way to go Jo Lee! It was heartbreaking watching Christie today, but Lee made the right adjustments. Heck of a Classic.

For me the big lesson here: don't be afraid to pick up a spinning rod and scratch up some bites.

It's going to be VERY interesting to see where his career goes from here. He's made such a splash at such a young age. Has anyone in pro fishing put together this kind of resume before age 25 before?

Carhartt sure hit the jackpot with Jordan & the college series in general. He's making them cool to younger anglers. Carhartt has always been the working mans "dad" clothes, now they sponsor a lot of the youth movement in bass angling. Pretty savvy move on their part.

He just went and started tossing around a wacky worm around docks right? Seems a lot of guys said 'screw it' and started junk fishing around docks.

Speaking of a fast rise, I'm also SUPER impressed with Mark Daniels Jr. The dude wins the TBF championship in 2013 and makes the Forest Wood Cup. then he becomes a FLW pro for 3 years, makes the Forest Wood Cup again, switches to BASS and then makes the Classic in his rookie year.. oh and then finishes 15th!

MDJ has done quite a bit in the last 4 years. Pretty insane. He's going to break through soon.

I don't know what else to say, except that this is amazing.  Jordan Lee stayed within striking distance the whole tournament.  He has killed on day three two years in a row.  If he is within 8 lbs of the leader and they choke on the last day, watch out!

I would like to be the first to congratulate Jordan Lee's sponsors! :D Enjoy the victory while you can, I believe your sponsorship costs will be going up next year.
