Alan Reed Posted December 10, 2017 Posted December 10, 2017 I kayak fish and I have started to acquire enough soft plastics I don’t have the need to carry them all with me every trip. So, I decided to use one of the walls in the spare bedroom for storage. I don’t like the look of traditions peg board so I opted for diamond plate gavalized. Got 5.5ftx5.5ft of space to start filling up tomorrow. What do you think? 1 Quote
Super User Darren. Posted December 10, 2017 Super User Posted December 10, 2017 Pretty slick! I'm not that organized, LOL. My stuff is in tackle boxes, or storage boxes. Quote
Super User Sam Posted December 10, 2017 Super User Posted December 10, 2017 Beautiful. Should do well to store your baits. Thanks for sharing. Merry Christmas. Quote

Oklahoma Mike Posted December 10, 2017 Posted December 10, 2017 I have a wall with pegboard out in the garage that I use for the same. It works very well and is much easier to stay organized and keep track of what I have. Pretty sure my wife would leave me if I tried putting it in inside the house though lol. 1 Quote

They make different lengths 16”, 32” and 48”. It wasn’t cheap, but I got it on a really good sale. 25 minutes ago, Catt said: It's empty! ? Changing that today! 1 Quote
gall Posted December 10, 2017 Posted December 10, 2017 I found some on home depot site might just stick with pegboard. They have the larger pieces cause I would like to mount brackets to hold my. Rods too. Keep them safe and out of the way. Still imo a great idea though with the board you used Quote

Super User kickerfish1 Posted December 11, 2017 Super User Posted December 11, 2017 When the sun starts shining in that spare bedroom you can always use it as a solar panel. Or just buy more baits and fill it up! If I had to hang all my soft plastics on a wall pegboard it would like wrapping paper 1 Quote

Jdudley13 Posted December 12, 2017 Posted December 12, 2017 This would last though a few trips then they would all end up back in a bag or laying in the back of my truck or in my kayak. I applaud those that are able to maintain this. Quote

I don’t have a dedicated fishing store less than an hour away so when I go I usually stock up when I go or when I order online. 1 Quote

Now a great way to hang baits, I'm screwed financially and lost on what to do next! Great idea my friend!!! Quote
Vinjints Posted December 13, 2017 Posted December 13, 2017 I like the look and idea behind peg board storage, but no way am I putting on display my extras. Quote
Chance_Taker4 Posted December 14, 2017 Posted December 14, 2017 I have a wall of plastics, wall of cranks and a wall of terminal/wire/jigs. Luckily I have a 2.5 car garage that is strictly a dedicated fishing building. 4 Quote

Super User whitwolf Posted December 17, 2017 Super User Posted December 17, 2017 This Is a small wall for plastics. I store them here, take what I need for a trip, and at the end of each year take an Inventory and replace. 3 Quote
