This video was made in 2014 .  I have never seen anyof these lures . They seem to only be sold in Europe . I want  a couple . Have any of you tried them and where did you find them ?

I just ordered three Bluegill color from a site called wave Inn . Total plus shipping a little over 24 dollars .

I cant wait to  bring one  through a brush pile and then kill it .

I have one of the silver ones. Caught a few bass and redfish on them. They are definitely a different type of bait. Weedless kinda like a spoon with rattles. And heavy!

Oh and I got it off of eBay for 10$

Looks interesting. But I already have too many lures I don't use. BTW I hate when the website has weight in grams and not ounces.

I remember seeing that ad for them, and they look interesting, I just have a big aversion to Rapala baits so I never ended up trying one. I do like how it's kind of similar to a crankbait but with a single hook instead of 2 trebles.

That does look pretty interesting. Also like the single hook

design. Don't see it joining my arsenal, though. Just started

tying my own bucktails which, along with soft swimbaits, is

my bread-n-butter for my new addiction, striper fishing!

Ive been trying to figure out how to fish a lipless crankbait through thick brush . I have a Red   Eye Shad with two  weedless single hooks attached but will have to wait till next spring to see how it goes . Then when I saw these they appear to be what I've been searching for .

Why?  I buy almost all my lures at DSG when they have a sale.  Lots of times that means Rapala.  What do you hve against them?

I do buy Strike King as well.

Imo, they're overpriced and underperform. I've had so many DT series baits break on me it's ridiculous. I know they're wood and you'll break some wood baits if you use them enough, but they've proven way too fragile for me. Nothing of theirs have I tried that was any better than something I could get from someone else for less. Plus there's the whole ruining the Wiggle Wart thing when they bought Storm that I'll never forgive them for. FWIW, I do fish some of the small Husky Jerks and Xraps, the #8 sizes, because there really is nothing cheaper and better than them in that size range, and the #5 Shad Raps will never be replaced in my box, but their newer baits especially are just underwhelming as a whole to me. Obviously their baits work and I'm not trying to say they don't or won't, I caught lots of fish on my DT 6s before they'd fall apart, I just don't have a spots for any of them in my boxes.

I've never used a DT series bait . I have quite a few old Fat Raps that I still  use often and the Crankin Raps are one of my favorite more modern baits .

Thanks.  What brand(s) did you replace Rapala with?

I mainly use Strike King for cranks. Quite a few are custom painted baits from a friend of mine too.

I still have a few of these for what you describe. Made by Norman.

Yours has an eyelet at the bottom to add another hook .  Have you had any success with it ?

I just ordered 2 .

I never felt the need to add the bottom treble because this is what I throw in the thick junk. It also works well jigging/ripping it around big root balls. I have seen a few guys add a small willow or Colorado blade to that bottom eye.
