It's not snow related but 16 BELOW ZERO this morning. -9 yesterday morning. Great weather for working outside! Frost bite can happen in less than 30 minutes, your nose hairs stick together, for those with facial hair ice builds up around your nose and mouth, and snow has that distinct sound that says it's extremely cold!

It's even colder in norther Michigan and other northern states.

Yup - and just for reference - we brought the Alaskan Malamutes inside over night - that's rare..

-20 without the wind chill . . . . . Little nippy.

Sunny and a balmy 2 degrees now though -

My nephew's girlfriend is from Australia and her family is here for the holidays. They said when the left Australia it was 104 then come here where it was -16. That's a 120 degree difference! ??

My pup is good until around 0, but he doesn't have to worry about that because he suckered he way into our house about 2 months after we rescued him.

Another snow forecast for Thursday, January 4th.

Up to 8-inches west of Interstate 95 in Virginia and then heading up the coast into New England.

Final snow totals depend on how close the storm comes to the Atlantic coast.

For all of you guys and gals in New York and New England areas, have fun!!!!

Oh my gosh....Oh my gosh...Oh my gosh.  I so feel sorry for all of you up north.  It's up to 19 right now and supposed to get over freezing.  Next week in the 40's...I'll take it.

Right. My error. Thanks for bringing it to my attention.

You could get hit hard if you are around Baltimore.
