just bought two new CAsitsas reels in a 7.2:1. What techniques are they good for. I have two 6'6" MH rods and two 7'3" mh rods available. Thanks

I have a 721 Casitas I use for worms jigs weightless flukes, and jerk baits. That little reel cast really well for a lower end baitcaster I really like it but it erks me that its made out of some cheap hard plastic.

I’ve owned quite a few curado and citica b and d series, a couple E series. I don’t buy reels often, maybe 1 every two or three years. I had reels from other brands I’ve tried over the years, sold the non Shimanos and bought a casitas 150 HG 7:2.1. I love this reel, it casts better than any reel I’ve owned, and that’s good enough for me. Super smooth, I use mine for Jigs.

Anything where you want the bait to move faster or pick up line quicker while reeling at a normal clip is where you will want to use them.
