Best reel under $150

Looking for a new spinning reel this black friday or cyber monday, I need help on this handful i have chosen, if anyone has experience with any of them please let me know:

1. Abu Revo X

2.Pflueger supreme XT

3. Daiwa procyon

4. A stradic ONLY IF it is on going on sale. 

will be used for M-MH rod

trying to stay within 100-130 dollar range

I agree with @bigturtle on the Daiwa BG! I’ve also been using the less-expensive Pflueger President so I would have confidence in the Supreme XT as well.  @Nunz, I rigged the BG 2500 on a 6’8” medium-light, fast-action rod for finesse freshwater fishing; it is well-balanced and certainly works well for the lakes around here. Casts a mile and seems to be built like a tank although I did notice that the bail is constructed of thinner material than a Pfleuger President. (Having said that, the bail is really solid - doesn’t seem to be an issue at all.) I chose the 2500 because the larger diameter spool makes more sense to me. 

 

Just a personal note here. I have seen a noticeable difference between the features of a $100.00 baitcaster and a $150.00 baitcaster but I am not able to see any significant difference between spinning reels in the same price range.  You might also want to consider a Shimano Nasci at about the same price ($100.00) as the Daiwa BG. Having said all this, I doubt you’d go wrong with any of your choices. I just try to keep the reel cost down so I can purchase a little better rod and stay in my budget.

BG is solid for both fresh and salt. If your budget is 150 I would get an fk but you want to spend less BG is a great choice.

thanks, i will definitely check out the bg, i was thinking about buying one for saltwater, and was eyeing the nasci, but id prefer not to have a graphite frame.
