Super User TOXIC Posted November 20, 2017 Super User Posted November 20, 2017 Original SPRO LittleJohn. Cell Mate color. I hated crankbaits until I threw this one. Tungsten coated rattles makes a different sound. More of a thump. 1 Quote

Mumbly Posted November 21, 2017 Posted November 21, 2017 I think most guys have fished more brands of squarebill's than I have but for me this past season it's been a mix of a few different baits. SK 1.5, Luck-E-Strike RC2 series 1 & 2, XCS100 and H2O CRS all produced very well. 1 Quote
Chance_Taker4 Posted November 21, 2017 Posted November 21, 2017 Guess I'm the odd man out but I use the River2Sea Biggie both the Smalls and Poppa. But if I want to use a silent squarebill I throw the Luck-E-Strike Rick Clunn Silent Squarebill. 1 Quote

That said I don't use them as much as I used to as I tend to like fishing big baits . The last couple of years I have favored the Strike King 8.0 Magnum squarebill as it moves a lot of water and tends to attract bigger bites especially in low light conditions. It also excels as a night fishing bait. Quote
Dtrombly Posted November 21, 2017 Posted November 21, 2017 Excite Baits XB-1 is a quality squarebill. Quote

Lincoln Posted November 23, 2017 Posted November 23, 2017 I got a couple of Rapala bx brats from tackle warehouse and I did pretty well with them this fall, they seemed to come through cover pretty well to me. Other than that a KVD 1.0/1.5 in sexy shad, chartuse sexy shad, or green/Black always seems to do well. Quote
Super User Bankbeater Posted November 24, 2017 Super User Posted November 24, 2017 A lot of the local water I fish is shallow. My favorite in shallow water is a Mann’s 1 minus. Quote
