Probably that sponsors rod and reels. If I was a guessing man I'd say it could be lews.

Considering lews and strike king have the same parent company now I don't think that is a  far fetched guess for kvd to be going to.

***edit*** I almost positive Im going to get the Okuma EVX cranking rod because it has the right specs and I found it for $75. I just got the Scott Martin rod and its AMAZING and this rod look like the same rod just a bit cheaper. 

I have both Okuma EVX cranking sticks.  They both fish a little heavier than rated.  The Medium power model is the more versatile of the two.  The MH is definitely for big plugs.  I reallu like them both.  They're sensitive, so you can feel right when you run into something to back off and finesse the bait through cover, have the right moderate taper for good deflection when bumping bottom and cover, and the handle is very comfortable.

Thats good to know! Thanks! So if I wanna use it for like a punch of different crankbaits and stuff like that the I should go Medium? Cause I mean stuff from smaller squarebills to liplesses and stuff like that.

The Medium would be the one to get.  The MH fishes best toward the top of it's range, close to and a bit over 1 oz. baits.

St Croix Premier 7' MHM is what I have been using for the last 10 years as it has become my favorite all around crankbait rod.

Little bit over my price range and I found a $100 cranking stick for $75 so I'm gonna with that. Especially since i know I like its older brother. Thanks Though

Th MH works well for the big 20' diving plugs.  I also like for smaller hard swimbaits like Sebile Magic Swimmer.  I actually have a Whopper Plopper 130 tied on it right now.  So, in that sense it's also pretty versatile, but it doesn't sound like that's what your looking for.

Okay, my dad just got a fenwick HMG and I love it too. Never heard of those^ rods, but I'll look for the hell of it. 

*edit* okay i just looked at the rod, I honestly do like it and if something goes wrong getting the rod I'm already getting the lunker stick will be my back up. The only thing holding it back is the color. I really don't like that rusty orange color.

Yeah I already have a rod for whopper ploppers and heavy-ish stuff. Light swimbaits, frogging, etc. The medium since it runs a bit heavy should be perfect and exactly what I'm looking for. Plus $25 off is nice  Can the medium throw liplesses well cause I know some people use a heavier rod for the.

I have a pair of ethos 7'med/mod rods from acadamy, and looking at a third. I fish squarebills and med divers (up to 12') on them and love them. Wonderful cranking rod for price, $69 reg, often on sale for less. To go deeper than 12' or mag sizes i go to my deep crank rod, an enigma 7'10" md hvy.
