scbassin Posted December 25, 2017 Posted December 25, 2017 Raul hit the nail on the head. If your left handed it's the 201 B-5 or the 201B3.8 Quote
Justin L. Posted December 29, 2017 Posted December 29, 2017 I have a Daiwa ss sv... Its. 5.3:1 but the thing has an aluminum main gear and only 8lbs of drag. It weighs 5.4oz... Will it be alright to crank up to an 8xd on it? Quote
JawjaBoy Posted December 29, 2017 Posted December 29, 2017 I've still got a Quantum 1310CP with 3.8:1 gears, Quantum EX300P with 4.4:1, and Lew's BB-1NG with 4.3:1. They're old warhorses, but any of the 3 will drag the biggest, deepest cranks all day long without a problem! Quote

I used the OG Alphas for all my cranking sticks for years, without issue. 8# of drag is plenty, but you'll improve smoothness by upgrading to a Carbontex drag from Smooth Drags. Quote
Super User Deleted account Posted December 29, 2017 Super User Posted December 29, 2017 Pinnacle MT10SR (4.7:1), or any of it's clones. Quote
