No Bass A Thon in 2017

The BAT has become a showcase for new local swimbait and tackle products and a gathering place for both pro and recreational club bass anglers for decades wasn't scheduled for this year .

Since we don't have any major pro bass tournaments in SoCal the BAT was the only place to catch up with trophy bass fishing freinds and touring pro's doing seminars and mixing with the crowd.....I will miss this opportunity to learn about what's going on in the bass fishing first hand.

Is it simply the lack of pro tours or an economic decision? Seems like fishing in Cali is pretty expensive..
