Chughes37 Posted November 9, 2017 Posted November 9, 2017 (edited) I recently ordered a G. Loomis NRX 893c and 894c for my jigs and plastics. I’d like to add more to my line up but I’m curious about the applications of some of these other rods. Im looking at an NRX 802c or 803c NRX 873 CRR GLX 842c MBR what applications would be good for these rods? Edited November 15, 2017 by Chughes37 Wrong NRX model Quote
Super User buzzed bait Posted November 10, 2017 Super User Posted November 10, 2017 not entirely sure what all you'd use them for.... that said i have 2 NRX and 1 new model GLX and frankly i'd buy the GLX again and again over the NRX. the guides are so much better in my opinion and it feels just as light and crisp to me. DaveT63 Posted November 12, 2017 Posted November 12, 2017 No experience with the other models, but that GLX 842 is an absolute dream for senkos and light plastics. Quote
Super User kickerfish1 Posted November 12, 2017 Super User Posted November 12, 2017 NRX 872 CRR? To my knowledge no such for exists. The shorter rods obviously weigh less and a re good for skipping or close quarters combat. You may also consider a 852 in either the casting or sppinning version. Great rod and very sensitive. Great rod for anything up to 3/8 Quote
