I'm very set in my ways when it comes to plastics but with all the praise I read on here for Rage products I think since I am stocking up for 2018 its time to add Rage to the lineup. I think I am adding the Swimmer, Chunk, ReCon Worm and Bug to start. Is there any other bait that is a must try in the Rage Lineup?

Menace Grub, hands down. Bluegill and Smokey Shad for moving bait trailers. And for jigs, green pumpkin, watermelon seed, and my personal favorite - green pumpkin w/ gold/purple flake.

The Craw is a versatile bait.  Use it alone, T-rigged, on a bare football head, as a trailer, if it's too long, bite off the the first two segments and you have a chunk.  Space Monkey is cool, too.  Along with the standard presentations, I also rig it unweighted and fish it like a finesse toad.  Especially deadly when the damsel/dragonfly mating game is going on.

Love the magnum rage bug, and the fish do too. I use it to pitch and then once it gets a little wore out I use them as jig trailers. I also use them as trailers on blades jigs. Really bulks up the presentation and I am able to move the bait very slowly, high in the water column

A little late to the party ain't ya buddy, lol. My favorite is the rage craw. Like Francho said, extremely versatile. The rage toad is a close second for me as well.

I've got a bunch but don't really fish plastics after all that. I will say that weightless T-Rigging the Bug and throwing it over pads and stuff like a hollow body frog caught me a lot of fish. It was a better topwater bait for me in cover than any below water lure.

I believe in if it aint broke don't fix it. I haven't tried new plastic baits in years and think 2018 is the year I start looking at different baits. I haven't tried the Ned Rig yet and that's on my list for 2018 as well.

The Rage Craw, Menace, and   Space Monkey are pretty awesome.

Rage Craw is my go-to jig trailer.

The Menace is the only artificial I that has out fished live bait fishing for smallmouth!

The Space Monkey is Big O's favorite and something EVERYONE should try.

Rage tail toads have been a killer for me.

Ditto. I'd take these two over the rest by a long shot.

The Menace grub has been money for me, especially this past summer. Fish it on a standard bass jig and on a slider head. While I really appreciate the packaging that keeps the baits from getting a funky bend, I still only buy them on sale and stock up then.

For me the Menace is the only "essential" plastic in their lineup.  It is so versatile and there isnt really any else out there quite like it.

I grabbed a pack of the Baby Menace by accident intending to get the full size Menace.  I like them a lot.  Good for finesse jigs or a smaller profile on swim jigs.  Definitely worth a try.

You can cut a Menace in half, lengthwise to get a really cool drop shot bait.  Rig it cut side up.

Throw a menace weightless its deadly.

What hook do you like for this?  I throw them on an Owner 3/0 straight shank, but like to use a 1/32 steel weight as a protective nose cone of sorts.  I want to try and find some super light plastic cone of some sort as I like the action better w/o the weight.

One Rage bait that will always be a mainstay in my soft plastic lineup is the Menace. It makes a great jig trailer when you're looking for a compact profile, and works great on a T-rig, punch rig or rigged weightless. For a finesse jig trailer, bite 3/4 of the body off. The Menace is a fish catcher no doubt.

I use 2/0 or 3/0 ewg weightless cast it out, and it cast good for a weightlessgrub, pop it up pause pop pop pause dead stick whatever but usually work it back slow not super slow but slow that's how I use it I get alot of bites when I'm raising my rod tip on the retrieve rather than your usual bite on the fall and I think that's because the flanges don't move much on the fall because it's weightless but on the retrieve you get a ton of kick from the tails.

Interesting, I agree that I get a lot of hits when I lift it off the bottom and less on the fall.

I tried smaller hooks but had a awful time with hooksets until I tried the 3/0 cutting point hooks.  I mainy fish them on a  BFS combo, so I dont have a ton of hook setting power to work with.
