Talking about going rid of it here in Mass. Switching to Atlantic time full time. The rest of the Northeast would have to follow suit though.

Yep, get to work 13 hours tonight instead of 12. When the clock goes from 0159 to 0100, that's the longest hour of the year. The joys of working midnights :lol:

Don't know why they don't just keep DST. Nobody I know or have ever discussed it with has liked the idea of the sun going down at 4:30 in the afternoon.

I have always heard that it was because of kids having to catch the school bus in the dark.
