alabamabassmaster Posted June 9, 2007 Posted June 9, 2007 The river where I fish mostly is very deep, currently it's about 10 feet low due to a drought here but it's still averages 35-40ft in the main channel. The banks we fish range from 15-30ft deep. Currently, I pitch jigs and paca craws with great success. I fish spinnerbaits and crankbaits if I don't get any hits pitching but I would like more suggestions. What would you guys recommend for this depth of water? Also, the water is pretty dark. alabamabassmaster Posted June 17, 2007 Author Posted June 17, 2007 I have the Carolina rig rigged up on one of my rods, now how do you fish this rig? Like I said, about 15-30 ft is normall where I like to fish on this river, do you just throw it out and drag the weight across the bottom and 10-20 seconds or let it sit there? How do you know when you get a hit? Quote
Ky_Lake_Dude Posted June 18, 2007 Posted June 18, 2007 Just cast out and let it sink to the bottom. Once its on the bottom drag it about a foot in a half stop it and let the bait sit about 5-8 seconds then repeat. Quote
