jmcarriere Posted November 3, 2017 Posted November 3, 2017 Anyone know of a good pair of polarized sunglasses that gp over your normal glasses Quote
Bucky205 Posted November 3, 2017 Posted November 3, 2017 SAM's Club sold a pair that I use to have that a couple of small magnet at the frame temple held another lens exactly over the first. YODO's are another solution and under $20 that go over your RX. https://www.amazon.com/Glasses-Sunglasses-Polarized-Lenses-Women/dp/B01M07GYMC/ref=sr_1_1_sspa?ie=UTF8&qid=1509674521&sr=8-1-spons&keywords=safety+glasses+that+fit+over+glasses&psc=1 Quote

Bucky205 Posted November 3, 2017 Posted November 3, 2017 If your veteran and use the VA you can get a pair of prescription polarized sunglasses through them for a nominal fee. Only mention it because we have a lot of vets here. Quote

tholmes Posted November 3, 2017 Posted November 3, 2017 I use the $20 ones that Wally World sells. They have side shields and brow shields, 100% UVa and UVB protection and are cheap enough that I don't lose any sleep over dropping them in the water. They make me look like some kind of alien insect overlord but, at my age, I don't really care. Tom 2 Quote
Nebasska Posted November 3, 2017 Posted November 3, 2017 Been thru many a pair of cheap ones...and about 3 years ago I spent 200 on a pair of costas and they are still awesome no scratches and never broke...I feel like they are the real deal if you can fit it into your budget. Quote

Nebasska Posted November 3, 2017 Posted November 3, 2017 I am not sure you might check there website https://www.costadelmar.com/ Quote
SWVABass Posted November 3, 2017 Posted November 3, 2017 Might look into costa and see if they can make it in your rx, if not I know Oakley will make rx lenses so that might be another option. Good glass is worth the money spent. Quote
Super User MassYak85 Posted November 3, 2017 Super User Posted November 3, 2017 I use a pair of Eye Surrenders. They're reasonably priced and have made a world of difference. I've never owned more expensive brands like Costas so I can't compare them. Quote

Made for fishing. https://cocoonseyewear.com/ Weird, I was looking some months ago for fit-over fishing glasses for my wife and this brand never came up when I was searching. All the ones I found were junk so it's good to fine a better option, thanks! Quote

You can pick from many popular frames, at a VERY good price, some are even under $50 Quote

That's what got me started with the VA was my eyeglasses, It saves me about $300 a year on glasses and in Birmingham, the ophthalmology staff is really good. Quote
