Do these acquisitions usually result in any adjustments to pricing of current inventories?

Never in a downward way!

I am glad I special ordered a bunch of different weights & blade configurations & colors I wanted years ago, they are excellent baits.  They were excellent people to work with.

War Eagle is the only spinnerbait I use. Scary prospect. Time will tell. I guess I'm picking up what I see locally just to have some back stock.

You really think he has the capital for that type of buy out when he just dropped all that cash? I’d be shocked. Pure Fishing is a giant.

And only a speck on their parent companies' portfolio, but Jarden themselves were bought out (technically a merger) not too long ago, so I guess no company is too big to be purchased. Pure fishing's new parent company owns seemingly everything in consumer goods, as well as many other sectors.

Pradco Outdoors already owns Heddon, BooYah, Cotton Cordell, Yum, and a host of others.  I heard they are going to manufacture in Fort Smith.  It's truly hard for the small guys to compete and the owners and management of War Eagle are to remain heavily involved.  Probably a solid business decision.

Saw that.

Hope they don't screw up a very good product.

So, just be crystal clear, please do not mention politicians' names or political policies, as those are considered "political" by nature.

As a reminder, all things political are strictly forbidden on these forums.

Thanks in advance!

I doubt ol Johnny has any interest in owning a bait company. It's much easier for BPS to squeeze their suppliers than make baits.

I did hear that Spro recently told BPS to kick rocks.

As I sit in  my recliner I can see Gene Larews old place .

He's been gone since around 1985, great man.

Larew  baits has just used his name for many years.
