Yesterday i recieved my first order of jigs from@Siebert Outdoors

I ordered a dredge pack with the brush head in both 3/8 and 1/2 plus one additional color in each size. Let me just say that after just the initial handling i can tell right away that his jigs are of a high quality even the skirt feels of a higher quality, i love that his weedguard is not as stiff as off the shelf jigs amd that he leaves them long for us to trim as we like. Also i was a little worried because as per Mike the owner deep throat hook is a lighter wire hook well let me say this it is the same guage wire as my previous brands round bend hook. I do need to learn to thread my trailer on with out the hook poing coming out a little after the first bend.

Love my Sieberts. Only custom fishing thing I think I ever ordered.

Found a spot once where I threw 6 times to the same hole and caught 4 nice bass over 1-1/2lbs. each.

He helped me pick the colors for my area and he wasn’t wrong.

Appreciate the review @jmcarriere!  I'm a huge fan of honest user reviews.

I never reviewed Siebert stuff, but I've recommended them a few times.  Here's an abbreviated review of live test last week:

Siebert has been making jigs for BR members since long before becoming a sponsor.

I know that he has been making jigs for along time and before he became a sponsor, but i also like to give reviews of stuff that i purchase. I will not be able to give a reviewof how they fish for a few months as my open water season is now over as its only 30 degrees here

I just ordered 10 jigs and a spinnerbait yesterday from Seibert's. I know the jigs work, but I'm curious to see how his spinnerbaits are. I love his bluegill flash color for a swimjig/spinner/buzz/chatter-bait skirt.

They sometimes need a bit of tuning, but the come through the weeds like a champ.  I usually add about 15° bend at the head.

Guy makes the best jigs on the market. I've only used a couple of his spinnerbaits as of this year. Super impressed /w them so far.

I had order some jigs and blade jig from him, have not tried any of the jigs yet but Fogy blade jig just plain catch fish. It is a tad heavier than Zman chatterbait original but hardware is way better and color is phenomenal.

Love his stuff! Color selection is fantastic and the quality is great. Mike is very good about responding to any questions you might have. I have utmost confidence in his swim jigs as well as his shaky headed jig. Honestly if it’s a jig of any kind I get it from him. I just got some swim bait heads from him this week. The guy uses quality hooks I trust to stick fish and not bend. I can’t get enough of his stuff.

That's Walhat makes it unique, it gives the whole package a body roll. They are great!

Nothing to be concerned about -- the Fogy is awesome. It doesn't hang up more often in vegetation, and may actually deflect cover a bit better than narrow-headed bladed jigs. I actually prefer the bubble blade version better than the regular version, as I think it stays down a bit better on the retrieve (I can't prove it, but that's what it seems).  I like it in the bluegill, bream, bluegill flash, and chartreuse shad skirts.

How did he help pick? I don't use jigs that much because I get frustrated with all the colors, heads, weight, etc. If I could get help with color choices I'd be a little happier.

Something greenish/brownish....and something blackish/bluish....be happy :)

seriously, though, get a hold of Mike and he will help....but, my advice is to try a couple different line ties and weights in above colors...the rest of the nuances just don't matter as much as comfort/confidence/ease of use for your conditions (grass, rock, wood, etc.)

Brush jig, 1/2 oz., wire tied package:

Then get Rage Chunks in Green Pumpkin, Blue Black Flake, Green pumpkin, and Black Neon.  That's a good start.

Love Siebert jigs. Got my first shipment of some last summer. They were so nice-looking, I scolded the first bass I caught on one because he was so rough with it.
