High end trout casting rod?

Looking for a good upper end casting rod for throwing 1/4 oz spinners and spoons. I do have a G Loomis STR9000IMX which is an awesome all around rod but would prefer something a little lighter for throwing light gear. 

Reels are chronarch mgl and a tat sv.

Holy moly never in my life would I have imagined having $700 wrapped up into a tiny trout fishing setup. I hope my kids dont throw all my gear out when I am gone!

I've been using the Loomis E6x Inshore series rods and I like the actions better than my IMXs for trout. The 843c Medium /Mod Fast with a Curado 70 and 20# Sufix 832.

 

I'm actually inshore fishing, but the rods load up nice and are perfect for landing fish with soft mouths. You might even look at the ML instead of the Med.

Thanks for the info I may have to try one of these out! I love my 842 GLX spinning rod for trout!.

I even called Loomis this morning and told them what I was looking for and he had no answer........

Saint Croix Wild River WRC90MLF2 for around $200.  This is a VERY nice rod that I have used.  I've also used their Avid steelhead rod in a 10' length for $270.  These rods are very dialed in for this type of lure.

Thanks for the info! Just picked this up with the 25% off and it feels nice with a tat sv mounted. Cannot wait to give it a try.

I like the Okuma steelhead, salmon, trout (SST) Series. I have the 7' ultralight and feels amazing. Super sensitive and can cast 1/8 spinner a mile. However, it's inexpensive (under $100), but proved to be high end quality in my opinion. Not sure if you're only interested in high price equipment. If not, maybe check them out.

Thanks for the idea- may have to give one a try. I do have a few of the SST kokanee trolling rods and really like them.
