So i towed my boat back to michigan for 30 days and motor never had any issues. I was amazed. Now i just got back to phoenix and after sitting for a week and a half i notice this when i go out to my boat. I have had this before but not nearly as much grease leaking out., Ive cleaned it then re greased then no issues for a couple weeks then a little oozes out then i add more grease. This seems like quite a bit. Can anyone tell me what i need repaired on this or is it even an issue. Shold i just keep adding grease? Thank you.

Seals are compromised. Is that on the tilt/trim, hard to tell from the pic

Ya I believe so is that hard to repair or expensive?

I agree /w slone. Seals are shot. I can't tell from the pics what/where it is. Could be tilt/trim but it's hard to say. Trim the motor up, stand back a little, and take a better pic of what is actually leaking and where it's at. 

 

Replacing the seals is actually really simple on the tilt/trim. I'm not familiar /w your trim rods but generally you need a special wrench to get the caps off. Isn't that hard to get a hold of though. Replacing the seals is really straight forward. Make sure to replace all the fluid and bleed/replace /w new when you're done.

The first picture is the bottom off the swivel pin where it meets the lower unit. You can see the speedo tube going in next to it. There is just an o-ring in there to replace. 

 

Looks like you you could use some better marine grade grease too.

Ya I was home on leave and in a pinch and just threw some high temp bearing grease in.
