S.mcintire Posted October 24, 2017 Posted October 24, 2017 Any good lakes to take my new kayak out onto in western pa? Quote
Super User fishballer06 Posted November 8, 2017 Super User Posted November 8, 2017 Welcome to the site. Sorry I just now saw this post. What part of western PA are you in? Almost every lake in western PA is limited horsepower, so that's usually beneficial to the kayak guys. Quote
Super User new2BC4bass Posted December 10, 2017 Super User Posted December 10, 2017 I hope the lakes treat you better on that end than they do on my end. Quote
Ben H Posted December 12, 2017 Posted December 12, 2017 Raytown lake is not good at all, for bass fishing Quote

Maybe it's a little tough to fish from a kayak because of it's size and the pleasure boats, but it's a solid bass fishery. Quote
Mobydick Posted December 23, 2017 Posted December 23, 2017 Let us know what area in western PA. I know a good number of lakes out that way. Quote
S.mcintire Posted January 7, 2018 Author Posted January 7, 2018 I'm just north or Pittsburgh near Butler Quote
Zippyduck Krimm Posted January 22, 2018 Posted January 22, 2018 Moraine, upper end of Wilhelm, and the lagoons in PIB. Are all great for kayaks. Quote
