Nitro26 Posted October 22, 2017 Posted October 22, 2017 I am heading to Pickwicke mid to late November , I have heard and read a lot about fishing the tail waters but can anybody else point me in the right direction for some productive areas ? Will they still be out in the deep ledges or will they be moved up shallow by that time ? Not looking for anybody’s honey hole just some general ideas to have a good time to catch a lot of Pickwick best thanks Quote
Super User roadwarrior Posted October 29, 2017 Super User Posted October 29, 2017 Just got back and heading out again on Wednesday. Fish the shorline from the TVA ramp to the power lines about two miles down. Alternate both banks, left and right. Position your boat about 5 yards out beyond casting distance. ALWAYS retrieve with the current. The hottest lures right now are the Rage Menace and BPS Tender Tube #71. Quote
Nitro26 Posted October 31, 2017 Author Posted October 31, 2017 Sorry but what does “TVA” ramp stand for? I’m not a local, just going to be visiting soon. Thx Quote
