This is a long shot but does anyone know what he runs on his boat. I know he does both lowarance and humminbird I was just wondering what models? And how he has them set up?

the tackle warehouse profile may tell you if he is on there

I dont know but Thrift is, in my mind, THE best tournament angler in the world right now!  I would love to see him join tbe elite series and smoke 'em all!

This is from last year but it might give you a good idea:

Console

1 Helix 10 right side imaging

1 Helix 10 left side imaging

1 Lowrance HDS 12 mapping / 2D

Bow

1 Helix 10 360 imaging

1 Lowrance HDS 12 mapping / 2D

See for yourself

Thank you Mi Kay. For taking the time I seen that article but you really helped by showing me he has 360 etc and mapping on the lowrance. Thank you! You really helped

It would be interesting to know his reasons for using both companies. Also while reading the article, near the end, there were photos showing the back side of his electronics. They all clearly said Lowrance but the front photos showed Hummingbirds. Any ideas?  Decals?

That shot is of a different boat. Check the wrap.

M.I.K. Good catch. Honestly, I can't tell from the wrap but his console is clearly black and the one in the  pic is red. Same thing with the Power Poles. Also one is a Bass Cat and the other is a Ranger. I didn't look close enough. Still a good catch though.

It's possible the boat came with Lowrance pre-installed, and he added the Humminbird units to supplement.  He can do that if he doesn't have a electronics sponsor.

If he isn't sponsored by any electronics companies, than he can pick what he thinks is the best for each task. Hummingbird is generally considered to have the best SI and Lowrance the best 2D and DI. And a lot of people seem to like Lowrance's mapping but then most are using Navionics which should be the same on other units so I don't get that.
